FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by and how?

Answer

Please RSVP by Wednesday, October 1st. You can do so by clicking the RSVP section on our website and entering your name. Any invited plus ones or family members should show up as well once your name is in. As soon as you submit it, it will come straight to us! As a general rule you can only RSVP to events you are invited to with one exception. For the rehearsal dinner (specifically to families with children that are invited), Zola would not let us only give the adults in the family the option for RSVPing to that. As a reminder, we unfortunately are only inviting adults to the rehearsal dinner at the Gray Barn due to limited space so please keep that in mind when you RSVP for each family member to that event. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause! We love your kids and can't wait to celebrate with them at the ceremony/reception :)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 3:30 pm. We recommend that you arrive at 3 pm to have plenty of time to find a seat and make yourselves comfortable.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. The average temperatures in Adairsville in mid-November are highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s, but as any of you that live in the South know we're always at the risk of hotter or colder outlier weather so layers are usually a smart idea. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors. The path to the ceremony is paved stone with a couple of steps. Cocktail hour will be at the reception venue on the covered porch with the reception being inside. The ceremony site and reception venue are very close to each other, so you won't have to walk far! In the unfortunate event of rain, the ceremony will be held at the reception building. Ultimately, we want all of our guests to feel good and have a great time! We are more excited for your presence than what you are wearing, so if the dress code is an issue at all please wear whatever you are most comfortable in!

Question

Are plus ones and children allowed?

Answer

If you were given a plus one, please feel free to bring a date! If your invitation/RSVP option does not specifically include a plus one then we kindly ask that you do not bring an additional guest. If kids are specifically listed on your invitation, they are welcome to come to the ceremony and reception! We wish we could invite every family's kids, but unfortunately we only have space to do so for mostly our families and the wedding party. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to any of our friends!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a gravel parking lot with handicapped parking spots outside of the reception building.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at any hotels?

Answer

Yes! Please see the travel section on our website for more information. As a reminder, we cannot hold the blocks past October 14th so make sure to reserve your room before the 15th! If you prefer to stay at a different hotel than the two listed that is totally fine too.

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

The reception dinner will be buffet style. There is no gluten in anything except for the bread. The rehearsal dinner is Italian/pasta food. If you have any dietary restrictions or concerns, please reach out to us and we will try to accommodate in any way we can.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

No, but there will be a limited bar with several drink options (including signature cocktails) so that everyone can hopefully find something they like! All drinks are on us so don't worry about bringing extra cash. If you do not drink alcohol, we will have several alcohol-free options as well :)

Question

Do you have a registry? Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to bring/send a gift anyway, we have a couple of options for ideas. On the registry tab, we have a few things on the Zola registry along with the honeymoon fund. We also are registered on Amazon under Rachael Sharp and Paul Fowler. You can either have your gift delivered to 113 Creek View Court Mount Holly, NC 28120 or bring it to the reception. A wedding card box will also be at the reception.

Question

Can I take photos at the wedding?

Answer

We do ask that the ceremony be unplugged so that our guests can be in the moment with us during our special day. This also allows our wedding photographers to get the best possible shots without interference of flashes and phone screens. Outside of the ceremony, feel free to take and share as many pictures as you want!
