Please plan on arriving at 4pm so that you may be seated and enjoy a welcome drink. The ceremony will start at 4:30pm sharp with no entrance to the ceremony allowed past that time. Cocktail hour will immediately proceed the ceremony. There will be passed hors d’Oeuvres and cocktails. Entrance into the reception barn at 6pm. Dinner at 6:30pm. The cake cutting will be at 8:30pm. The reception will go until 10:30pm. We hope that all of our guests will stay until the end for our grand exit with sparklers and see us off in our getaway car!
We kindly request that guests refrain from using phones, cameras, and other devices during the ceremony. We're having an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and enjoy the moment with us. Please turn your phone off or put it on silent. We appreciate your understanding!
We kindly request that our guests wear garden-themed attire. Think Bridgerton! Ladies- Maxi to floor-length dresses are requested. Floral prints and pastel colors are encouraged to complement the theme. Please avoid floral patterns with a white base, and be mindful that very light pastels may appear white in certain lighting. The bridal party will be dressed in sage green satin. Gentlemen- Suits are not required. Dark-wash jeans or dress pants paired with a dress shirt and blazer are perfect. We’ve chosen to create memories instead of registering for traditional gifts. Contributions will go toward special dinners, activities, and excursions during our honeymoon in Hawaii—seven days on Maui and seven days on Kauai. Our ceremony will be held outdoors in a shaded area. It will be a short ceremony. Cocktail hour will be held under the veranda and the reception will be indoors with AC and heat available. The locations for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all located at the same venue. The weather in Texas is extremely unpredicatable. While we are hoping for clear sunny weather, rain is still a possibility and we do have an indoor rain back up plan. Typically in May, it is usually mildly to moderately humid and in the mid 80s.
There is a large gravel parking lot in the front of the venue that will be able to accommodate all guest vehicles. For those staying at our hotel block, Sonesta Bee Caves, a shuttle will be available to take guests to and from the wedding.
