Our Story
Nick and Rachael’s story began with a swipe in 2021, but it was their third date that changed everything. A surprise Texas snowstorm left Nick snowed in at Rachael’s for four days. Four years later, during the next Texas snowfall, Nick knew it was the perfect moment to ask Rachael to marry him.
When they first started dating, Rachael was working at Brazos Valley Equine Hospital while establishing residency in Texas and pursuing her goal of attending Texas A&M University’s School of Veterinary Medicine. At the same time, Nick was finishing school and training to become an insurance adjuster.
Between interviews, acceptances, MANY exams, and Nick’s responses to catastrophic natural disasters—they have weathered every challenge side by side. Each obstacle only strengthened their bond and deepened their love.
Now, as they begin this next chapter together, Nick and Rachael are excited to celebrate with the people they love most and look forward to seeing y’all at the wedding.
