Best Man
Keenan and I met at Tuskegee University as freshmen year college roommates. I quickly realized that he and I share many interests such as planes, cars, video games, and football. It was clear that we would become good friends. Throughout our college years, this bond only grew. We ate together, partied together, grinded together and thrived together. We were around each other so much that we started acting like one another and people assumed that we were brothers. This tight relationship evolved into an ever-lasting friendship. I am happy to see my best friend find true love and honored to serve as his best man in his wedding. I look forward to seeing the two lovers take the next step in their relationship by establishing a lifetime bond.

Rachael and I met through her roommate freshman year at the illustrious and unforgettable Tuskegee University. Rachael was bubbly yet laid back, bougie but loved her some Gucci Mane and just all around good people. We quickly became bonded over our love of chilling in White Hall, dedication to our studies , the finer things city life could bring and just being in good company. I nicknamed Rachel “Raquel” and she nicknamed me “Pearl”. Like the nicknames, this is a lifelong friendship that I am glad I have mother Tuskegee to thank for placing in my life ! I am excited to have fun and be in an atmosphere of love ! I am excited to see the start of a beautiful union and happy to be apart of the beginning of one of their many journeys they will embark on as husband and wife!

Keenan and I met at Tuskegee University in 2013. With us both being in ROTC, we quickly established a friendship from day 1. From partying, hanging out in the dorms, to playing football, our small group of friends all graduated and became Marine Officers together. I’m extremely happier that our friendship has stood the test of time, and even happier that Keenan has found his perfect match in Rachael. I wish you both a lifetime of growth and happiness together, and can’t wait to witness you both exchange vows as husband and wife.

Rachael and I met in college in 2014. She was a freshman and I was a sophomore and her next door neighbor in our dormitory. We quickly became friends and often would catch up after a long day or take quick trips together to shop or go grab food. I really got to know Rachael even better when we worked together on a committee for a school conference as well as in the tutoring service on campus. I’m excited to be able to witness her get her happily ever after! Over the years, Rachael has always gone the extra mile to support everyone around her and encourage them to prioritize their happiness. I’m looking forward to being able to support her as she enters her next chapter with the love of her life. She’s more than deserving of all the love, happiness, and support to come!

Keenan and I met at Tuskegee University. Moreover, we were both in ROTC and faced the same struggles it fostered, so it was only right for us to develop a great bond and friendship. From the early mornings we had to get up for training to the late nights partying (nights that also turned to morning), we had a lot fun with our small group. To this day our friendship has stayed strong and continues to grow. I'm proud to see him getting married and I pray him and Rachael have eternal happiness. I also want them to understand that marriage is a journey and it will take the both of them to finish that journey together. God bless, brother.

I really don’t remember the first time I met Rachael (who I've nicknamed Trill). We were both freshman at Tuskegee University together, and had mutual friends. I do know when our friendship really started to blossom though. It was our sophomore year when we had to take probability and statistics together. Throughout the years, Trill has been the person that keeps me centered, can calm me down, and always provide comfort inn times where I feel as though people don’t understand me. It has been an amazing seven years of friendship and I’m so happy to be a part of this union with the OTHER person that makes her the happiest in the entire world. They are Tuskegee’s finest, and most importantly a great Tuskegee love story.

Keenan and I met when he became one of my neighbors in middle school. We weren’t instantly close but would usually get together with other neighborhood kids to play basketball or football. I noticed his skills at the sports we’d play but also the arrogance others pointed out. Spending time with Keenan you notice that he may talk big but can always back up what he says so I didn’t mind like the others. And after a falling out with another friend, Keenan stayed with me and showed me kindness so I knew he was a man of integrity as well. I didn’t know it at the moment but I had gained one of the best friends anyone could ever have. I missed my friend but was excited to see the new growth when he returned. I’m excited to see him take this step of marriage with someone he really cares about.

I don’t even remember the FIRST time I met Rachael lol; I think it may have been at Jewell's dorm, and knowing us, we probably just chilled in the lobby doing home work or scrolling Pinterest. BUT, I knew Rachael would be a forever friend when we all went to the Gucci concert senior year and she single-handedly made my night with how lit she was 😂. I'm grateful to Tuskegee University (and Gucci lol) for bringing such a great friend into my life. I’m so excited and honored to be part of Rachael & Keenan's 'Skegee love story! I can’t wait to see the first kiss and dance as Mr. & Mrs. Brown. I’m even more excited to see Rachael slayyyyy in this dress!

Keenan Brown and I met at Tuskegee University in the fall of 2014. He started as a mentor and leader within the NROTC program, quickly humbling us “new joins” physically and socially. A few months after “proving” myself to the Cool Kid from Cali himself, we quickly became friends, running amok across campus every morning and weekend night. Keenan is the type of friend that is always there during the good and bad times, regardless of the time of day. Even though we are on two different continents, our bond as brothers remains strong knotted together as Tuskegee Alumni, Marine Corps Officers, and friends. You are a man of unwavering commitment, and the married life will fit you well. I wish you and Rachael the best and many happy days as husband and wife! Ephesians 5:25

Hmm, where do I start? Rachael and I met during our journey to becoming a member of the First and Finest Sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. From the first conversation we had on the phone that night, I felt as though we had known each other for years. I am so happy to call her my sister and excited to support my “Good Sis” as she walks into this new journey of her life. I feel honored to be apart of her wedding party and the opportunity to watch her and Keenan take this beautiful next step in life.

Keenan and I met through ROTC at Tuskegee, but our friendship really flourished while we were in Flight School. Whether we were studying, partying, or sharing our experiences as we transitioned into “real life”, you could always depend on Keenan to bring good vibes and a fun attitude! The support we were able to extend to one another, at such a pivotal point in our development, was one of the biggest blessings in my life, creating nothing less than a lifelong friend. I’m thrilled to celebrate his love for Rachael, and I wish nothing but the best for my dawg.
