Are there any COVID Restrictions?

Answer

YES. The COVID Procedures are as follows: 1. A COVID-19 PCR test MUST be taken no more than three (3) days prior to the Wedding. To be clear, a test should be taken no earlier than Wednesday, October 10th and no later than Friday, October 12th. If you take your test on Friday, please confirm you can receive same day results. In general, please confirm that your COVID-19 testing site can provide you with rapid results via email the same day or by the next day. 2. Please upload your NEGATIVE test results and Vaccination Card (if applicable) by Friday, November 12, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. to https://tinyurl.com/HowardBrownCOVIDRegistry 3. Temperature may be checked upon arrival to the Los Angeles Athletic Club. Vaccination cards and/or NEGATIVE Covid-19 Test results may be requested. 4. Masks are optional for outdoor activity 5. Masks are preferred for indoor activity, except while drinking and dining 6. Rules are subject to change and will abide by Los Angeles County Health Protocols

What's the RSVP Deadline? Can I RSVP online?

Hotel Room Reservations with the discounted rates cut-off is Friday, October 8, 2021 The deadline to RSVP for the wedding is October 13th. All RSVPs will be done online via this website under the RSVP tab. Please enter your first and last name to unlock your RSVP form. If you're responding for you and a guest (or your family), you'll also need to enter their first and last names individually to RSVP.

What should I wear?

Answer

Attire for the evening of the wedding ceremony and reception is formal or black-tie optional. Men have the option of wearing a tuxedo, or they can wear a formal dark suit, white shirt, and conservative tie. As far as women are concerned, the choices are the same as with black-tie: a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. It's also acceptable to wear a dress that shows the ankles. Please avoid wearing any shade of white.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Los Angeles Athletic Club dedicated parking is handled by Olive Park located at 646 S Olive St, Los Angeles, CA 90014. Parking Rates: Wedding Day Guest Parking is $17.00 with validation. See Wedding Coordinator for validation. Hotel Guest Parking is $20.00/night Other parking options: Metered Street Parking is also available as well as nearby parking lots.

Is there shuttle service to and from the LAAC and LAX?

Answer

No, the Los Angeles Athletic Club does not provide shuttle service to and from the airport. The private group shuttle is no longer available due to lack of reservations. What time should I arrive?

Answer

For the wedding ceremony, please arrive no later than 4:00 p.m. Early arrival is encouraged. Seating will begin at 3:45 p.m. to ensure everyone is seated and the procession can start on time.

Do I need cash for the bar?

Due to COVID, Cash will not be accepted. Credit Cards only please.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

It's always sunny in Cali, or so the saying goes. If historic trends continue, expect mid 70s and mid 50s. A light sweater or coverup for the wedding will suffice. If you plan on seeing the city while out here, consider bringing a jacket as well.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place at the Loss Angeles Athletic Club. Pending great weather, the ceremony will take place outdoors on the rooftop. The reception will be indoors. For out of town guests, this will also be the primary accommodation.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless specifically told, all guests are not entitled to a plus one. To keep the ceremony quaint during COVID times, plus ones are restricted to married couples and family units.

This is an adult-only wedding. No children will be permitted at the event.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We ask you NOT take any pictures or videos during the wedding ceremony to allow our professional photography team to capture the best images possible.
