Washington
DC is located about an hour and a half from Martinsburg. It is home to so many great historical sites and museums . If you have some spare time be sure to check it out!
Harpers Ferry
This is another great park for you to visit. It has plenty of history and lots of things to see and take in.
Shepherdstown
This quiet little town is full of little shops and restaurants to keep you busy. It is also home to Shepherd University. It is very popular and with the wedding in May it is possible school will still be in session. Because of this we recommend an afternoon or weekend visit, when there are less college students about.
Touch of Grace Spa and Salt Cave
With all the wedding prep, we will be stopping by here ourselves before the wedding. Feel free to book yourself in for some relaxation before and after the wedding!
The Alamo Drafthouse
This is our favorite movie theater! They serve food during the movie.

One of our favorite restaurants in town, this is always worth a stop in.
Angelo's Brick Oven Pizza
Our favorite pizza place! It has the best pizza in the entire four state area!
Everything Cheesecake LLC
The best cheesecake in the area. It is worth the trip and we would highly recommend getting a slice or two while you are here!
Schmankerl Stube
This is George's favorite place for German food. You know it must be good when it gets a thumbs up from George. We highly recommend this to anyone wanting to try a bit of authentic German food.
