Why did the date change?

Answer

Do the COVID-19 Pandemic, for the safety of the vendor team and guests, the wedding was postponed from May 9th to October 4th. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause!

When are the new RSVPs due?

Answer

We’d love to know if you can make it again (we hope you can!). Please use your new RSVP cards to RSVP by August 1st

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Although your presence at our wedding is gift enough, if you would like to give us something please consider donating towards our honeymoon. If that is not your style and you prefer giving something else instead, we totally get it. Our registry in linked on the registry page of this website. The Bridal Shower registry is under Rachael’s name at Target. Thank you.

Can we take pictures?

Answer

Great question! For our ceremony we kindly request the you put away all phones, iPads and cameras. We have hired a fantastic photographer to help us capture the magic and we don't want anyone to get in the way of their shots. During the Reception please take as many pictures as you would like and post them to social media using the hashtag #NowWereRoling !

Do you have hotel blocks?

Answer

As of right now we do not, but we do have plenty of hotel recommendations and our local airports on the travel page of this site! Please feel free to use this information to book at any of the hotels listed!

Where is the ceremony/reception taking place?

Answer

While both ceremony and reception are in the same place: Cacapon Resort State Park 818 Cacapon Lodge Dr, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411 The Ceremony is taking place in a gazebo in Cacapon Resort State Park. Once you turn into the park, please follow the signs to the ceremony. You are free to park at the Nature Center, or in the grass. There is parking located all around the outside circle. The reception is at the lodge. There will be signs from the ceremony to follow to get there as well. They have a large parking lot for everyone to park in front. This is an invite only event, so please no uninvited guests.

What time should we be there?

Answer

Our ceremony starts at 1 so we are kindly requesting that guests come 15-20 minutes early so they are able to find their seats before we begin. Our rough schedule for the big day can be found on the schedule tab of this website. Please keep in mind that things can change due to weather or other delays. We will keep everyone updated as we get closer!

Is there a dress code?

We hope our wedding will be a great excuse to wear your favorite FORMAL attire! Dresses and Suits please. No jeans or tee shirts!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Oh la la. In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

Yes ! We will be having an hor d'oeuvre hour directly after the ceremony while the wedding party and family take pictures. We will also be serving buffet style dinner and cupcakes during the reception. If there are dietary needs that we do not know about, please email Rachael or George at the emails provided on the last question of this page and we will do our best to try and fit your needs.

Will you be searving alcohol?

Answer

Though our new date is a Sunday, it is our intention to have a full open bar at our wedding. We will be serving beer, wine, and liquor. Please drink responsibly !
