We have negotiated great room rates for all of our guests. Los Cabos International Airport (SJD)

AIRPORT = SJD -- Los Cabos Airport | SJD San José del Cabo International Airport This is the major airport of Los Cabos & where you'll most likely be flying into. Southwest, American Airlines, Delta, United, and more all have flights to and from SJD. Pro tip: set up price alerts on Google Flights and/or use services like Skiplagged, Skyscanner, or Hopper to track cheap flights to see if you can get a deal on airfare. We know flights aren't exactly cheap! COVID TEST Mexico remains open to travelers, however. There is no need to provide a negative PCR test or quarantine on arrival, though most resorts ask guests to fill out health questionnaires. There are health screenings at airports. Note: You will need to take a Covid test to travel back to the USA.

Wedding Venue

ACRE BAJA Calle Sin Nombre, Animas Bajas, 23407 San José del Cabo, B.C.S., Mexico Rachael and Alex will share their vows and say "I Do's" at Acre Baja, a lush sanctuary set on acres of abundant greenery. Followed by a cocktail party by the pool and the reception, all at the same location. Located 10 minutes from the suggested hotels on the travel and accommodations page. Shuttles will be provided at no cost to guests to and from Cabo Azul the evening of the wedding.

Shuttle from the Main Hotel (Cabo Azul) to Wedding venue

June 9, 2022 4:45 pm - 11:00 pm

We will provide roundtrip shuttle transportation between Cabo Azul and the wedding venue. Meet at the Cabo Azul valet circle (outside the lobby) at 4:45pm and the shuttle will depart for the wedding venu at 4:50pm). The first shuttle to return to Cabo Azul will be available at 10:30pm. All other shuttles will be available at 11pm.

HELPFUL TIP

For those traveling to Mexico for the first time (or if it's been a while), here are some things to keep in mind. • Bring a pen with you on the flight. You'll fill out an immigration form on the plane & bring it with you through customs. • You need a valid passport to enter Mexico. • The line to get through customs could be long. Make sure to use the restroom before getting in line! • DO NOT LOSE THE VISA CARD you receive after getting your passport stamped. You will need this to get back into the US. • After picking up your luggage, there will be hundreds of people trying to sell you time shares and other packages. Just keep walking. All transportation options are outside. • Contact your bank, wireless carrier, and car insurance company (if you plan to drive) before leaving the states.

MORE TIPS

• Don't drink the water. All hotels will serve bottled water and you can buy massive water bottles at local convenience stores for super cheap. Use these when you brush your teeth. • Bring some Pepto Bismol with you in case you need it in a pinch 😬 • Credit cards are accepted most places. (sometimes American Express is not) • If you need to take out cash, use ATM at the hotel or bank. You get a better exchange rate. • We recommend breaking $50-$100 USD into small bills (5s and 1s) and carrying this around for tips if you don't have pesos on you. • Most cab drivers will only accept cash. You can use USD or pesos. • If you decide to rent a car, be prepared with cash to pay tolls.
