Jen & Dan are tying the knot! Welcome to our wedding website – we’re so glad you’re here. We’ve created this website as a helpful resource for all of the need-to-know details in the lead up to our big day. Here you’ll find our schedule of events, attire, accomodations, venue information, and frequently asked questions. We’d love for you to take a look around to learn more about our wedding day plans. And finally, thanks so much for all of your love and support so far! We can’t wait to celebrate this special day with all of our favorite people.
Dan & I were hired at Pawling Elementary School at the same time, and we worked together for a year before we ever had a true conversation. It started with a few "hellos" as I dropped the class off for P.E. and a "your class was great today !" My co-teacher, Katie Coffey, would coincidently have to make more copies every time that we had to pick our kids up from PE, but I never thought anything of it. We continued on with the school year in our own worlds not aware of what the next few months had in store for us both. On the last day of the 2021-2022 school year, a group of teachers went out for happy hour to celebrate the start of our summer break. Some how we ended up sitting next to each other and conversation naturally started. From that day on conversations continued and we began hanging out everyday. Those summer hangouts eventually became dates and we both knew that this was something special.
In the summer of 2023, we took a little vacation away just the two of us to Atlantic City, NJ. We had a nice dinner date planned for the night of August 12th at Guy Fieri Steak House. In typical Dan Good fashion he can not keep a secret and holding this in was killing him. I could tell he was nervous as he "got up to go use the bathroom." When he came back after a quick splash of water to the face, he asked me to move to the edge of the table. After a typical stubborn response of "I am fine where I am, Why do I need to move?!" I relunctantly moved over and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. The whole restaurant got up and clapped and cheered. We then headed to the casino in hopes to win big for the wedding.... no such luck. Despite losing on the blackjack table, it was the most perfect night with my future husband.
