Our favorite spot in the city (we love it so much Sourobh proposed here!). Perfect for a long walk, bike ride, or--if you're daring--you can rent a kayak or stand-up paddle board.
The best ice cream in all of Boston (according to Raashmi's authoritative ranking). There are several locations throughout the city, but we love the one in Beacon Hill for its proximity to both Boston Public Garden and The Esplanade for delicious ice cream with a view. After thorough research, our recommendation is the Salted Caramel Cookies & Cream.
A great stop for baked goods, sandwiches, and salads. We've never had a bad thing on the menu but some favorites include the breakfast sandwich and BLT. Don't leave without something from the pastry case!
Vegetarian food that's so good, even Sourobh likes it.
Italian bakery in the North End. Open 24/7 and better cannolis than the other guys.
Beautiful art museum with something for everyone. Paintings and sculptures from around the world are featured, alongside the museum's fascinating history (the site of the biggest art heist in modern history!).
Another great museum down the street from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. We love the Art of Asia collection (the biggest collection of Japanese art outside of Japan!) and new exhibits are always rotating through.
Great spot for small plates with an extensive Greek wine list.
One of our favorite spots for bites and cocktails on the roof deck. Try the drink of the month!
Another brewery with many locations around the city, Trillium is a great spot to try the quintessential New England hazy IPA. This location also has great oysters.
The beers are $1 and the people watching is unmatched.
