Michael Casella

Man of Honor

We met in middle school, but became best of friends in high school. We were the awkward kids, the ones with acne and bad hair who played in the marching band and thought it was cool to cut study hall. We've been there for each other during the best and worst times of each others' lives as roommates and best friends. From midnight road trips from college to Philly, to years of sharing shady Chinatown apartments, and now to carefully planned weekends to visit each other in NYC, Philly, or for a quick Bergen County gossip walk - the friendship remains strong and I can't imagine having anyone but Mike as my right-hand guy on the most important day of my life.

Laura Haffey

Bridesmaid

Laura and I became fast friends when she was looking for a place to live and we had a spare room in our apartment. I knew nothing about Laura except that she worked with Mike, was studying at Temple, and that she had a bright and bubbly personality. After only a few late nights of non-stop chatter over cheap glasses of wine, I knew she was someone I wanted in my life permanently. We've had countless laughs and enough ugly cries to know that we just get each other on a level that exceeds a typical friendship. Almost 10 years later and we're still known to blather ad nauseam into the early morning hours about everything, nothing, and everything in between.

Daria Calvecchio

Bridesmaid

Our friendship started sharing mudslides at a rented Stone Harbor house the summer of 2004. I was new to the Philly group of friends and Daria embraced me with a big hug and a tribal scream that I would later learn is her way of expressing enthusiasm (don't be surprised if you hear it from Daria or Mike on the dance floor). We've sing-screamed Yellowcard's Ocean Avenue while driving on Ocean Avenue, stayed out past bar closings meeting the most interesting of Philadelphia characters, we've shared adventures from the cabin life of Delta, PA to the poshest rooftops of Chicago. Even though almost 350 miles separate us these days, we still always find time to visit the Silver Linings Playbook booth and gab over breakfast at our favorite DelCo diners.

Jimmy McCormick

Best Man

You all probably know how babies are made, well my parents did that and nine months later a Little Jimmers appeared. Although he's the younger brother he has always been rather fearless and always had my back. I remember once when I was about 8 and he was 5, I was getting beat up by a local bully who was 10. Well James wasn't having it and decided he would hit him in the head with a rock. I was pretty stunned but he made sure he reminded me that the kid was only stunned so we better start running.

Chris Everly

Groomsman

While living with Erik at college I soon discovered he had a younger gingerier brother named Chris. What Chris lacked in a Human Soul he made up for in pure rage. I'll never forget the time he started head-butting the wall after he dropped a freshly made batch of Taco Dip (or some other disgusting food that is not worth getting upset over). As the story goes on a couple of years after college I ended up living with Erik and Chris in Fishtown until I found a girl they approved of and she told me I couldn't go to Cav's River Deck anymore.

Erik Everly

Groomsman

I met Erik briefly my Freshman year at Drexel since we were both OUTSTANDING Student athletes our first year. Well the summer going into my Sophmore year my parents kept nagging me about where I was going to live the next year on Campus but I reassured them that good things just randomly happened to good people. That's when I got a call from the kid most people spent trying to avoid on campus Freshman year. Now while this New Yorker was fairly annoying he was freshman roommates with Erik and it turned out they had a large house "on campus" with some vacant rooms, we ended up being housemates for the next 3 years at Drexel where we threw some epic keg parties and again for 3 years later when we discovered the fun times exploring Fishtown.

Riley Nye

Flower Girl

Meet Riley, our newly minted Flower Girl! Riley is our niece and one of the most spirited and sugar-loving toddlers we know. This past Christmas Riley decided that she wanted to dress up as a Disney Princess as often as humanly possible, in that moment we knew that we needed to get her into a poofy dress and give her the spotlight. Riley's current interests include Rated-G rapping to Ludacris, BabyBel cheese, and Bubble Guppies.
