FAQs

Chances are you'll have questions the day-of and chances are we won't be able to answer them in a timely manner. Please use this FAQ to prepare for our fun-filled weekend and wedding day. See you there!
Question

Can I Bring a Date?

Answer

We've taken a look at our guest list and made every effort to ensure that our friends are able to bring a date to the wedding. If your invitation is marked "and guest", you are welcome to invite a significant other, new(ish) guy/gal, or friend. All we ask is that you use best judgment and not invite a "flavor of the week".

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Our venue address is: 320 South Broad St. Philadelphia, PA 19102 Walking Directions: If you are staying at our host hotel (The Cambria) or the DoubleTree Hotel, you will walk across Broad Street, make a left, and take Broad Street two blocks south (away from City Hall) to The University of the Arts. If taking the Broad Street Line: (from the south) get off at Lombard-South Station and walk two blocks north. (from the north) get off at Walnut-Locust Station and walk two blocks south. If taking the Market Street Line (east or west): get off at 15th street and transfer to the southbound Broad Street Line, then hop off at Walnut-Locust station and walk two blocks south. We recommend taking an Uber or Lyft at the end of the evening because we love our family and friends and want to be sure that you all get home safely.

Question

Will I Have to Pay for Parking?

Answer

If you are going to be driving to the wedding then the answer to that is yes. There is an abundance of street parking, however much of that is metered and will require regular payment throughout the afternoon/evening. If you prefer a parking garage, please visit www.philapark.org/locator for pricing and operating hours.

Question

What Should I Wear?

Answer

Our wedding "dress code" is cocktail attire. He should wear: a suit and tie. She should wear: a cocktail dress or similar suit. *Weather permitting, our cocktail hour will be outdoors and uncovered so keep an eye on the forecast. The reception will be indoors and air conditioned.

Question

Can I Bring My Kids?

Answer

As much as we love all of our family and friends rugrats, this is an adults-only event. We want to give you a child-free evening!

Question

Are The Ceremony and Reception Locations Wheelchair Accessible?

Answer

Yes! Please email Becca at McCsIn2018@gmail.com for details on how to access the building without navigating the large staircases.

Question

Will Food Be Served?

Answer

Absolutely! If there are three things that we REALLY like to do it's eat, drink, and dance. All three will certainly be in abundance.

Question

What If I Have a Dietary Restriction?

Answer

Don't worry, we've got you covered! Please make a note on your RSVP card as to what menu item you would like and if you have any restrictions. All entree choices can be made gluten-free (un-sauced), and we can certainly work with our caterer to ensure your restrictions are worked around. We will have a dedicated gluten free/vegan option if you want to play on the side of caution. We're also psyched that our good friends at Crust Vegan Bakery will be making a wedding cake that is gluten-free, vegan, soy free, and tree-nut free! (phew! we hope that covers the big ones). We want everyone to be able to enjoy the sweet treats of a wedding so if you have any of the aforementioned restrictions then this cake is for you!

Question

Will There Be Dancing?

Answer

Does the Phillie Phanatic like to gyrate his big green furry belly? Does Rocky love Adrian? Do soft pretzels taste better when dipped in water ice? Yes, OBVIOUSLY!

Question

I'm Coming In From Out of Town, Will There Be Pre-Wedding Activities I Should Know About?

Answer

You bet! We want to spend as much time with the friends and family that will be traveling to celebrate with us so we're going to make sure the weekend (and a few days before) have some great Philadelphia-inspired activities for you to participate in. In addition to the activities that we have put together, there's also a link at the top of this page for Things To Do in Philadelphia. The city is full of amazing history, art, culture, and food/drink - we hope you come to love the city as much as we do!

Question

What Time Will The Reception End?

Answer

Our wedding will end at 9:00pm. We know that a lot of family/friends will be traveling home on Monday and don't want to keep anyone out late that might be looking to call it an early night. For the night owls and those that are not yet ready to say goodnight, we'll be making arrangements for a post-reception location. Details will be updated on the "Schedule" tab of this site.

Question

Will Last Names Be Changing After The Wedding?

Answer

Though the name Peter Scuderi sounds mighty nice, Rebecca McCormick has a slightly better ring to it (all the puns intended). Yes, names will be changing after the wedding.

Question

I have a question not answered here; how do I contact you?

Answer

The easiest way to contact us will be at our wedding email address, McCsIn2018@gmail.com
