Noé and Araceli first met in a way that was there for them since the beginning, from the moment both of them were introduced to their faith through family upbringing. Who would think keeping their faith would lead them to each other. In March 2023, they both liked each other’s profile on a Catholic dating website, with no real expectation of a connection, yet the plans of the Lord are right and just in time. It wasn’t until Noé decided to send the message that started it all, “What’s up”. Araceli was struck with curiosity. Who was this man and what about him makes her want to know more? After about a month of messaging each other back and forth, Noé decided the pull trigger and suggested Araceli to go out on their first date. On April 22 nd, they met up for their first date at Rice Village in Houston. The date included going to the Blackhole Coffee Shop, Houston Museum of Fine Arts and having dinner at Black Walnut Café. Noé displayed his interest in Araceli by accidentally spilling his drink on Araceli during dinner. Araceli demonstrated her patience with Noé and told him not to give the accident a second thought. That same date ended up with Noé asking Araceli to be his girlfriend and Araceli accepting. Noé and Araceli continued dating in both Conroe, Victoria, Houston and even Santa Maria Del Rio, SLP; close to where both of their parents were born in Mexico. Noé and Araceli have included going to Catholic Mass in their dating, even when traveling to Central America and New York City. Eventually Noé and Araceli started to include friends and family into their dates and the conversation would lead to planning a future as a married couple. On May 22nd, Noé decided to invite Araceli to dinner at the Pump House Restaurant and in secret, also invited her sisters and mother to dinner as well. Noé got down on one knee and proposed in the middle of a busy restaurant, she said "YES" to spending the rest of her life with Noé. The rest is history and both Noé and Araceli look forward to sharing their special day with their most loved family and friends.
