Embarking on the Campus Tour of a Lifetime...

Spring-Summer 2018

Who knew khaki pants and polos could lead to love? The campus tour route led Jules to Casey, and now has led you all here to their wedding... Our paths first crossed as friendly coworkers in 2017 - though Jules was technically Casey's boss ;) Something in the air changed during spring of 2018, when what were once friendly glances transitioned into longing stares. By April, our friends had seen enough of our pining, and they orchestrated a "meet cute" at a tour guide party, where we finally admitted our mutual feelings and had our first kiss. On May 30, we made it official! That summer, we both decided to stay on campus to work as tour guides, and our relationship blossomed surrounded by the beauty of an Ithaca summer. One highlight from that summer was going on a picnic date at Sunset Park. We spent the evening with a beautiful dog named Koda, who had wandered away from his house nearby. He appeared suddenly from the trees and walked straight toward us, tail wagging, and immediately plopped himself down on our blanket. He spent a solid two hours just like that, lying between us, as if he'd known us for years. Between the clear, starry night sky, the deep conversations we shared, and this sweet furry friend that had chosen us, we both look back on that moment as when we both knew we were truly in love. We told each other "I love you" just 11 days later. Oh, and by the way, we made sure Koda got home safely that night!

Those That Ghosthunt Together, Stay Together

December 2018

After learning very early on that Jules' had an affinity for all things true crime and creepy history, Casey surprised them with a night of ghosthunting at the Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast to celebrate six months of dating. They already loved each other, but this is when Jules knew this was it. This was the person she was going to marry. Casey and Jules soaked up the most of this fairly new, yet deeply settled relationship before embarking on a long-distance challenge - with Jules leaving for L.A. in January and Casey bouncing between Ithaca, Plymouth, and New York City.

If We Can Make It There, We'll Make It Anywhere

Summer 2019

Jules ultimately decided to come back to New York after living in L.A., and that summer, Casey stayed with Jules and their family while they both worked post-grad internships. We spent our free time adventuring around the city, visiting spots that remain some of our favorites today -- the Museum of Natural History (along with lunch at Alice's Teacup), the Prospect Park Zoo, pizza at Spumoni Gardens, a trip to Ellis Island. This was Casey's first glimpse of life in the Big Apple, and Jules thought it looked really good on her! Near the end of the summer, Casey got her first full-time job offer. She would be working in Boston, and decided to move back home to Plymouth for this next phase. While never fun, long distance was an old friend to us at this point, and we knew we had the foundation to make it work. And we were right!

We Can Go the Distance

December 2020

COVID brought more challenges to our long distance relationship. It was no longer safe for us to travel to and from Plymouth and Brooklyn to see each other. We were able to adapt, as did the rest of the world. We relied on movie dates and sleepovers through FaceTime, and eventually learned how to visit each other as safely as we could. In November 2020, we managed to take a trip to North Conway, New Hampshire - a Quinn family staple. After months of FaceTime, uncertainty about the world, and very quick visits to each other, this trip showed us one thing - we couldn't bear to spend another moment living apart. As soon as we returned home to our respective cities, we began to apartment-hunt in Brooklyn, and by the end of 2020, we were moved in to our sweet little apartment in Ditmas Park. We conquered long distance, and were finally able to start and end each day by each other's side.

Piccolo Nostromo Quinn-Zubrovich

February 20, 2021

One of the happiest days of our lives! We brought home our handsome little stinker, Peeky. We had been planning to adopt a cat for about a month, and had met a few different cats that we were interested in -- for various reasons, they didn't work out. Just as we were starting to lose hope, Bobbi and the Strays called to tell us they had just taken in an 8-month-old kitty who would be a perfect match for us -- a bit rambunctious, but a social, happy, and affectionate boy. We were over the moon, and drove out to Long Island just days later to meet him. And as you can predict... it was love at first sight. He's been brightening our days with mischief, monkey noises, zoomies, and snuggles ever since.

Casey Proposes to Jules!

April 2, 2022

In April 2022, Casey and Jules were taking their first international trip together to Spain! More importantly, it was Casey's first international trip EVER, and she managed to orchestrate a surprise engagement in a totally different country. Jules and Casey had picked out engagement rings a few weeks prior, but agreed to go through with purchasing after their trip. Or so Jules thought... Casey secretly ordered Jules's ring, and while Jules was away one weekend, Casey picked it up and talked to Elise and John. Fast forward to their Spain trip...on the second to last day, in the beautiful hidden Plaza de Santa Marta off the main path of Seville, Casey popped the question! She'd orchestrated a secret camera man to follow them there to take photos of the moment. Jules was like...50% surprised. She'd had a feeling it was coming because Casey is a bad liar. But it was the most beautiful moment, surrounded by blooming Spanish oranges, a sweet spring breeze, and, most importantly, each other.

Jules Proposes to Casey!

June 18, 2022

Jules couldn't let Casey have all the proposal fun. Casey's favorite thing in the world (besides Jules and Peeky) is Winnie the Pooh. They had seen a stage production of it in the city in the fall of 2021 and wanted to go again, but it left to tour. Jules heard it was coming back, and she just so happened to know someone working the production. Jules arranged for VIB tickets (Very Important Bears), which got them to sit front row center, receive a little merch package, and meet the characters after the show. On stage, surrounded by Casey's favorite friends from the Hundred Acre Woods, Jules popped the question back! No surprise here when Casey enthusiastically accepted.

And now we're here...

May 31, 2025

We're so excited to get married. Thank you all for being part of our ongoing story, and for being with us on this monumental day.
