Quinn and Marc met in real life at Capital City bar in Raleigh. In August 2017, Quinn had just graduated college, and Marc had spent 2 years in Raleigh after graduating from Villanova. It was late at night, but Marc managed to get Quinn's phone number and send her a message. Thanks to a fateful Uber driver, Quinn was convinced to text Marc back - and the dating began! They hit it off immediately - Quinn grew up in Bucks County, and had done an internship in the California Bay Area - going through Fremont, Oakland & Palo Alto. Marc had grown up in the Bay Area and went to Villanova (a university close to Quinn). And somehow they both ended up in Raleigh for work. They spent the first few years driving from one person's spot to another to cook meals together and spend time with each other. As both of their parents were in different states, they would share a pre-Christmas celebration that is now a tradition: decorating for Christmas while singing Christmas songs and making chicken enchiladas and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies! Followed by gift giving and lots of cuddling! Eventually after a few years, they moved in together at Marc's house in a cul-de-sac neighborhood in Raleigh halfway between work and downtown. It was there, they decided to move to the north east to be closer to family. After looking at Boston, Jersey City/Hoboken and Philadelphia, we chose Philly. Roughly a week before the move to Philadelphia, Marc proposed to Quinn on Tuesday March 7th, 2023 at Mandolin - a restaurant they would celebrate the purchase of Marc's house and a special moment in their lives.
