Is there a dress code?

Answer

Not at all — we just want you there! Whether that means jeans and boots or shorts and a golf polo, wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and ready to have a good time. Formal and fancy isn't really our style. Just keep in mind that our celebration will be outdoors and in October, so dress accordingly for the weather!

Is there a ceremony?

We'll actually be getting married privately with our families beforehand, so our celebration will be all about the fun! We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone afterward with dinner, drinks, dancing, and games. It’s going to be a night to remember!

Will there be dinner and drinks?

Answer

Yes! Dinner will be served, and we’ll have beer and seltzers available. This is a backyard celebration, so if there’s something else you’d like to drink, feel free to bring it along — we just want everyone to enjoy themselves!

We’d love to accommodate everyone, but due to space, we’re keeping things intimate. If your invitation includes a guest, they’re more than welcome!

Where should I stay?

Answer

Since this is a small celebration, we won’t be blocking off hotel rooms — but we’ve got you covered with some location tips! The event will be in North Kansas City, not far from MCI Airport. We recommend looking for places near the airport or in Liberty, MO for the easiest commute.

Will the celebration be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The celebration will be outdoors, so dress accordingly for the October weather. We’ll have cozy vibes, but layers never hurt!

Where should I park?

Answer

We recommend carpooling if you can, but there will be parking available at Hodge Park — right across the street from the celebration. We'll also have a shuttle running from the parking lot to the party, so it’ll be easy and convenient for everyone!

When should I arrive?

Feel free to arrive around 5 PM! We’re keeping things relaxed, but cocktail hour will kick off then with dinner to follow.

Can I take pictures and post on social media?

Answer

Yes, please! We’d love for everyone to take lots of pictures. We won’t have a photographer at the party, so we’re counting on you to help us capture all the real, candid, and unfiltered moments. Feel free to post and tag us — we can’t wait to see the night through your eyes!
