Our Story (from Quinn's perspective)

It all started with a mini golf date and some ice cream — which sounds pretty cute, until you hear that Kaydon tried to let me win (a rookie move he quickly learned not to repeat... I have two older brothers, and they’ve never gone easy on me a day in my life). I asked him a million questions, and he was adorably awkward — but somehow, I just knew. I went home that night and told my mom, “I think I just met my future husband.” From the very beginning, Kaydon was a gentleman. He opened every door and made me laugh, but what really sealed the deal was meeting his friends and family. I saw right away that he wasn’t just good to me, but was kind, genuine, and loyal to everyone around him. Even more than that, Kaydon is a man of faith. His love for the Lord, his character, and his compassion for others are what made me fall in love with him. God truly knew what He was doing when He brought Kaydon into my life — and I thank Him every day for writing a story even better than I could’ve imagined. We did long distance for two and a half years, which taught us how to communicate better, cherish our time together, and become an even stronger team. Over the years, we've made the best memories golfing, going to Cardinals and Chiefs games, traveling, and seeing concerts together. On July 1st, we were set to "meet our realtor" to pick up the keys to our first house — or so I thought. When we walked into the backyard, Kaydon had it decorated with flowers, and there he was, ready to propose. It was just us, our home, and our family cheering us on — intimate, thoughtful, and absolutely perfect. We are now busy renovating our new home, taking care of our puppy Nala, and soaking up this sweet season of engagement as we plan the start of our forever.
