Maid of Honor
Riki and I have been friends since we were7. The friendship blossomed as we grew up and worked through obstacles together. Since a young age I had made a pact with Riki that she'd be my maid of honor at my wedding. Honestly, I hadn't thought this day would ever come, haha, now that it has, I wouldn't want anyone else by my side! Love you Riki!
Best Man
Dylan has been my best and closest friend since 2011. He graduated from Cornerstone University, he loves international travel and has a heart for God and people from all walks of life. He currently is involved with Ada Bibles Lifeline Group where he mentors young adults. He enjoys cooking (but mostly eating) and we often seek out interesting foods and experiences to grow our relationship. He has helped me to expand my horizons for travel, experiences and for different cultures. I am very thankful he is my best man.
Bridesmaid
I've known Porche since senior year of high school. We clicked in the Intro to Sociology class we took at Cornerstone together. I was a dual-enroll student, and she was a freshman. Her kind heart and encouraging aura drew me to her. We have kept in touch via text throughout the years. I'm so excited to see her and celebrate this awesome day with her as one of my bridesmaids!
Groomsman
Nathaniel was one of my first friends and his dad was my baseball coach back when I was in middle school trying new things. Their family are wonderful people who at times were like second parents to me. Nathaniel and I spent the night at each other's houses, playing video games late into the night. When we were younger, we spent many hours playing with Legos and he would make stop motion videos. We also played soccer together for a couple years. Currently, he works in the Electrical field for Windemuller electric and he lives with his wife Alexsis in Reed City. He also enjoys 3D printing, painting models and spending time with his dogs and family.
Bridesmaid
I've known Ashley since freshman year of college. Her spitfire energy and confident demeaner encouraged me to love myself and become more of a confident woman. She was the best at getting me pumped for school and passionate for history! I wouldn't want any other strong woman by my side to celebrate this monumental moment.
Groomsman
Caleb and I have been friends since college, and we met through Dylan. Caleb is married to his wife, Charity, and attended Cornerstone University the same years that I was there with Dylan. He has a plethora of skills related to his digital media/audio production degree. He worked at Mission India for 5 years, where he grew his skills, and started a business in his spare time. He is now self-employed as a content creator, working to entertain many and grow his brand.
Bridesmaid
I've known Mikaela since freshman year of college. The many laughing fits because we were exhausted from studying will always come to mind when I think of her. She always knew what to say to get me out of a funk. Her family treated me as their own which meant so much to me at the time. I honestly, don't know what I would've done without her. I'm honored to have her by my side to experience this wonderful day!
Groomsman
Jon and I met at Grif and have similar interests in current culture and video games. We also share a Christian faith and were once some of the only single men our age at Church. One afternoon out of the blue, Jon approached me with our Pastor, Craig and said "I don't want to be single forever, and I have the desire on my heart to marry" I was present with Jon and Craig talking about this and was honest as well. I felt that I would never get married or meet someone since so much time had passed in my "opportunity days" in college and other times throughout my late teens into my early 20's. I also was actively pursuing my small business and working two jobs. Fast forward to us attending the group that was discussed (known as Union) and he is currently happily married to a wonderful Christian woman and I myself have the opportunity to do the same in the next 6 months. :)
