This is the park where we'll be for Shabbat lunch on Saturday afternoon.
Some additional recommendations... Ice Cream: JP Licks Coffee (and AMAZING Pastries): Tatte Cannolis: Mike's Pastry Fast (but real and all vegetarian!) Food: Clover Fancy Drinks: Alden & Harlow
Take a walk along the Charles River! This is the best point to put into Google Maps if you're navigating from Harvard Square.
On your River-walk, be sure to take a few minutes to go out and stand on the bridge. It's a great spot to people-watch and see the Boston skyline.
If you want to head into Boston, the best place to get off the T or set as your Lyft dropoff location is Boston Common. From there, it's an easy walk to the Public Garden, State House, the Freedom Trail, Chinatown, the Theater District, the New England Aquarium, the North End (the historic Italian neighborhood), or Newbury Street and the Prudential Center (high-end shopping).
There's LOTS of local debate over who makes the best cannolis... Mike's Pastry is Michael's pick, and Jenn loves that Modern has gluten free!
If you're looking to explore Boston AND hang out by the river, this is the place. On weekends there are often food trucks and live music.
