7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Attire: Business casual.
Join us for a musical, joyful yet casual Shabbat service - led by Jenn, her HUC friends, and a few current TOS colleagues - followed by schmoozing and sweet treats. The service will start promptly at 7pm; we recommend getting there on time, if not a few minutes early to grab a seat.
9:30 am - 12:30 pm
Attire: Business casual. Feel free to bring your tallit or kippah in accordance with your practice.
Services will be from 9:30am-12pm. While some choose to arrive at services on-time, many people file in throughout the morning. It's totally normal to show up at 10 or 10:30. The aufruf*, when Michael and Jenn will be called to the Torah for an aliyah, will be around 11am. *See the Jewish Wedding 101 page for details. Kiddush (snacks!) with the TBS community to follow.
1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
In lieu of a welcome dinner or drinks, please join us for a drop-in lunch on Saturday afternoon. This will be a very casual gathering to give us the opportunity to spend time with you, but please feel free to go off and explore in the afternoon and into the evening! See our Things to Do page for recommendations. If you're local, please bring a potluck contribution and note it on the spreadsheet: https://shorturl.at/fgkp0. If you're from out of town and can bring a drink, packaged snack/dessert, fruit, etc., great! And if not, no worries, just show up. Magically, there is always enough food. BYO-chair and/or blanket, sunscreen, water bottle. Our rain location is First Church of Cambridge (11 Garden St, Cambridge - across the street from the park).
2:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Attire: Garden party - light, bright, and comfortable. The ceremony will be on the lawn, dinner and dancing will be under the tent (which is bricked and will have a wooden dance floor), but we'll be outside for most of the day, so please plan accordingly.
2:30pm - Tischen* (Respective gatherings to say hi, sing and nosh) 3:00pm - Bedeken* (Veiling) 3:30pm - Chuppah* (Ceremony) 4:00pm - Cocktail Hour 5:00-9pm - Dancing* & Dinner *See the Jewish Wedding 101 page for details. A note about transportation: We will provide a shuttle between the hotel and the venue, before and after our wedding. It's a 10-15 minute drive, so there will be a few options for pick-up on either end. Parking at the venue is limited, so even if you are driving, please consider parking (for free!) at the hotel - the Hyatt House in Waltham - and taking the shuttle.
