The heart of the historic district of Guanajuato. The garden is the perfect spot to people watch, listen to mariachi bands, enjoy some outdoor dining, and meet the "estudiantina" from the local university who will eagerly promote their evening Callejoneadas, the walking musical tours for which Guanajuato is well-known. We will be hosting a special Callejoneada for the wedding guests on Friday evening, but those arriving early are welcome and encouraged to purchase an inexpensive ticket for a lively evening tour of the city.
Great spot for breakfast and lunch! Tucked away in one of Guanajuato's many callejones, Vamos con Lalo offers tasty Mexican meals like chilaquiles and enfrijoladas. Try the Cafe de Olla if you enjoy sweeter coffee drinks.
Amazing views, incredible vibes, great food and drinks, and a vinyl listening bar on top of everything else! This is an awesome spot located up on the hillside to grab dinner and drinks with a view. Of note, there are a lot of stairs to reach this place as well as a steep spiral staircase within the restaurant itself.
A long-standing torta shop beloved by locals and visitors alike. Food is to-go only, so grab your food and sit in Jardín de la Unión for people watching and live mariachi music. *CASH ONLY*
