Valerie is my best friend, ultimately because she has no choice. She is thoughtful, caring, fun, and the most extroverted person after 2 shots. :) She never says no to a challenge and takes life into her own hands. She currently lives in Texas working as an elementary school teacher and lives with her boyfriend Justin. I miss her daily and I couldn't imagine getting married without her by my side!

Amanda has been in my life since freshman year of high school. She and I have been through so much together and have figured out how we fit into each other lives through the phases. She is super important to me and brings such a good energy to my life. We always laugh uncontrollably and take life lightly when we are together. She is fun, energetic, happy, ditzy, and loyal. ❤️

Sonny has quickly become one of my best friends. She is sweet, caring, bold, grounded, and outspoken. We met in medical school and have gone through the crazy process together. She got married to Kyle in December 2020. They have both been a huge support to Joseph and I, we are both so thankful to have them in our life.

Sharity and I became friends on the first day of orientation at CSULB. The only reason I made it through school is because of this girl. She radiates positivity, happiness, kindness, and strength. She has seen me through multiple phases of my life and we’ve had many good times together. Couldn’t imagine this moment without her calming support.
Anthony Justice Wingfield

First name is Anthony, but goes by his middle name, Justice. Justice and Jo met in Alaska where they were stationed together. At first Jo thought, he would never be friends with such a fool. Here we are 7 years later.. 2 week trip to Thailand, 1 week trip to Mexico, visited Jo in Florida for a month and Jo stayed with him in South Carolina for a month during Hurricane Michael. Word of advice, don’t take anything he says personally (that is, if you can understand his southern accent).
Loymon Juan Batiste

Also another weirdo who goes by his middle name, Juan. (I guess with a first name like Loymon, you’d rather be called anything else). Jo usually refers to him as “Batiste” as he refers to Jo as “Pyun”. As you could assume, they met off the bus from Air Force boot camp to the fire academy. The friendship and bond they built thru the fire academy made them both change their assignments to get stationed in Anchorage, Alaska together. After leaving Alaska, they traveled to Mexico together and hung out in Arizona and California as well.
Jammie Mango Garcia

Jammie and Jo have met in San Angelo, TX at the Fire Academy. They bonded not only because they were the only Asian firefighters in Alaska, but both were addicted to video games and had similar taste in music. Eventually after leaving Alaska it didn’t take more than a year for them to reunite in Arizona where Jo lived with Jammie and his wife, Stephanie and their two pups, Remy and Peanut. From shoveling snow outside the stations in Alaska to our unhealthy amount of runs to Dutch Bros in Arizona, these two have made many memories together with more to come.
Joseph Mora

Joseph Mora, also known as “Toe Joe” is the bride’s cousin. Toe Joe and Jo (together also known as “The Joes”) met in Reno, NV. Turns out they both have an unhealthy addiction to video games and bonded over that quickly. Eventually when Brianna and Jo bought a house in Rialto, Toe Joe moved in and then the rest is history. If anyone’s spent a night at their house they know how loud it can be when they’re gaming.
