We met on our first day studying abroad in Berlin nearly 10 years ago. Through park wanderings, classes on German history, and 59 cent bread rolls (brötchens), we became close. We've been together since a clumsily orchestrated setup by our not-very-slick friends. After University ended we moved to New York City. Our adventure bug bit us again after 3 years in the big city, and we set off on a 6 week trek around the world, and eventually settling in Seattle, where Thomas began his Master's. In our past 4 years here we have rekindled our shared love of the rugged outdoors, board games, freshly-ground coffee, and a cockroach-free lifestyle. Thomas popped the question at Yellow Aster Butte near Mount Baker using his mother's engagement ring. We can't wait to be married and start counting our anniversaries all over again. <3
