For two years, Alex quietly ordered pizzas from Emanuele at the pizzeria around the corner from her apartment, until one day a couple of coworkers were in the midst of persuading her to finally leave her phone number for him while waiting in line for their take-away pizzas. Emanuele, seemingly appeared out of thin air, looked Alex in the eyes and asked, "Excuse me, what's your number?" "Oh! Um! What??" "Your order number...." "Oh... it's #10." As he turned away, Alex did something a bit out of character (although this was during her blue-haired days) and blurted, "Do you want my phone number too?" Emanuele took the phone number of the strange American with blue hair and so began their story together. On January 10, 2021 Alexandra and Emanuele legally said "Si!" to spending their lives together at an intimate ceremony in Rome, Italy.
