When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 12, 2022. You can RSVP online via our RSVP webpage and we look forward to seeing you at our wedding!

What do I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie and blazer or a sports coat.

What will the weather be like in Northern Virginia at this time of year?

Answer

Early in the month of October you can expect warm temperatures during the daytime to reach the low to mid 70s degrees and occasionally into the 80s F degrees while early morning lows are mostly in the mid-50s F degrees.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors at Old Town Hall in Fairfax, Virginia!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party and family will be taking pictures nearby for around a half an hour. Guests can head straight downstairs to the reception hall where we will be serving light refreshments and beverages.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Our wedding colors are burgundy, gold, and hints of nature green.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Where do I park?

Answer

Street parking is available for 2 Hours free of charge and there is a free public parking lot on the corner of Main Street and East Street.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive about 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the ceremony but no earlier than 20 minutes early. You may enter through the double doors facing University Drive and make your way upstairs to find your seat. Please make sure that you have plenty of time to arrive and find parking.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Please look to your invitation to find how many guests are in your party. We have tried to include as many families in our limited number and please keep in mind that this is a small wedding with a select number of seating available.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please look to your invitation to find how many guests are in your party. If you do not see a plus one then we respectfully request that you abide by our requested amount of people you find on the invitation as we will only be able to accommodate for that number. Please keep in mind that our wedding is small and we have a select number of seating available.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! There is a seperate parking on the side of the building for handicap and that entrance to the building is wheelchair accessible. There is also a elevator available to access the upstairs where the ceremony will take place. Please reach out to us if you need further accommodations.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

There will be light refreshments served for the reception. Expect finger foods and light snacks with beverages and dessert options.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

ABSOLUTELY! We only request that you are mindful of our wonderful photographer, Raelene, and allow her to do her magic on our day. Please also keep in mind to put your phones away for our unplugged ceremony to be a part of our special moment as we become husband and wife. After the ceremony, take as many photos as you want and share them! Just remember to tag us in the photos and mention our hashtag #purityandwilliam so we can keep track of all the pictures!
