Think back to early quarantine times when people were obsessed with Outer Banks, making whipped coffee, and there was no toilet paper at the grocery store. When quarantine went from 2 weeks to Easter time to who knows when it will end. During those times two young people swiped right and left on the dating app Tinder only to swipe right on their soulmate and true love. Who could have thought that we would meet our person on Tinder?! Not me! After connecting, texting, Netflix partying, and FaceTime, William indirectly asked Purity to be his girlfriend on June 14, 2020 and the rest is history!
The day before our one year anniversary, we decided to have a date night on the weekend. William's date idea was to go back to where we had our first date (James Madison Library of Congress) and take pictures. However, as the day went on Purity got more and more upset because William *hadn't* proposed yet. Little did she know that while taking photos, William put the camera on video and then got down on one knee and asked Purity to marry him. (Honestly, Purity didn't believe it at first and kept asking over and over again if it was real!)
