Baarat + Wedding Ceremony

Attire: Black Tie Optional or Indian Be sure to have sunglasses and comfortable footwear as the wedding ceremony will be outdoors on a grass lawn.
Our wedding day begins with a Baraat, a very joyful wedding procession in which the groom travels on a horse, surrounded by his friends and family, to arrive at his future wife's family home. Kunal won't be traveling across villages, but across a parking spaces. If you've got the right dance moves and the energy is undeniable, the bride might make a special appearance to greet her groom. After the baarat, guests will be seated & the hindu ceremony will begin. This typically lasts 60-90 minutes & we will provide a program to help you follow along. We ask if you expect to be late to instead join us at the cocktail hour/reception at 6. Parking Please park in the Orlando Science Center parking garage and exit the parking garage towards the outside lawn and Menuello Art Museum. There will be people and signs set up to direct you to the lawn where the Bharat will be beginning. The groom's side should follow the horse and music! The bride's side should go towards the Menuello Art Museum.
Cocktail Hour + Reception

Join us on the 4th floor of the Science Center for Cocktail Hour followed by Dinner, Dancing, and Dessert! The Science Center can be entered through the 2nd floor of the parking garage. There is a glass walkway that takes you from the 2nd floor of the parking garage to the 2nd floor of the Science Center. Once you are inside the Science Center, you can take the stairs or elevator to the 4th floor.

Saturday in the Park

Attire: Comfortable. yoga pants and old college sweatshirts are totally acceptable.
This is the bride and groom's chance to relax with anyone who is staying in town on Saturday. Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando is beautiful and walking distance from the hotel. There are several grassy fields, swan boat rides around the lake, and several bars and restaurants to explore. We are planning on arranging a giant game of dodgeball with the help of the kids and whoever wants to participate. We will be ordering some corn on the cob and bhel as a light lunch. Please bring your own water, drinks, and towels or blankets to sit on. As the afternoon draws into the evening, we will probably head to dinner followed by cocktail bars. Come and stay for as long or as little as you would like. If you would like to visit the theme parks, outlets, or just recover at the hotel pool, you are more than welcome to do your own thing.
