We're so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. As we're keeping it intimate, only those listed on your wedding save the date/invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your save the date or invitation.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Please join us in your best beachy cocktail attire! The bride requests that blues, and, of course, white (including creams and off-whites) be avoided. For the love of god, please no Hawaiian shirts.

Help! I have ZERO idea how to book on the room block!

Answer

No worries! First, check the RSVP/Travel Tab for all the details. Our personalized room block booking site is linked there. If you are still lost, just go ahead and contact our travel concierge and they will get you squared away! REMEMBER: ONLY book via our booking link. Do not book via third party or the hotel directly. If you do, you cannot participate in the wedding festivities or receive the special rates!

What's the difference between a regular room and a "preferred club" room?

Answer

At Secrets, a "Preferred Club" room comes with additional perks and benefits. Preferred Club members get access to one additional private pool as well as 1 additional restaurant & bar. Personally, Mike and I have always found Preferred club to be worth it for us, solely because of the additional pool. The Preferred club pool tends to be more of a laid-back vibe opposed to an upbeat/party vibe. Although, Preferred club is absolutely not necessary in order to have a great time here! All Secrets rooms and service are phenomenal! One very important thing to note: Getting Preferred Club benefits is tied to the actual room and is not just a purchased upgrade. i.e. you can't purchase it as an add-on to your room. If you decide at or after check-in that you would like to have access to preferred club, you would have to upgrade to an actual Preferred Club room, if one is available. This can also be much more costly as well as risky as it depends on availability that day. If you think you would like to do the Preferred Club, we highly recommend booking it in advance. If you do not see any Preferred Club rooms on our booking link, please contact the travel concierge and they will get you squared away.

If my booking my room is my RSVP, how do I submit my choice for reception entrée?

No Worries! About 1 month prior to the wedding, if you booked a room, you will receive a Meal Selection form via email/text to fill out! :)

What about flights?

Answer

You can either book flights via the travel concierge with your room or book separately! There are numerous airlines that fly into Cancun (CUN) airport. Feel free to book your preferred carrier/flight.

Do I need a Passport to book?

Answer

No! You don’t need a passport to book your room/flight! But you will need a valid passport prior to your trip. Typically, the airline will ask for your passport info at the gate if it is not entered at booking time.

Should I get Travel Insurnace ?

Answer

This is totally up to you! Although, I HIGHLY recommend some sort of insurance for all international trips. You can purchase insurance for your trip via the booking site OR another good option is to book your trip with a travel-specific credit card that has trip insurance as a benefit. If you don’t have a travel credit card, I recommend the Chase Sapphire Preferred card! If you’re in need of a card, or have additional questions, let me know!

What if I don’t RSVP on time?

As we have a strict room block contract, we will be unable to accommodate anyone after the RSVP date has passed. All deposits/bookings must be put down by October 1st!
