Our Story
Our story began in late 2022 at Talis Biomedical, the small company where we both worked. After sparks flew at a group happy hour, we went on our first date and were smitten. A whirlwind romance followed as we realized we had something truly special.
Adventuring together quickly became our favorite love language. Our first year together took us from Seattle and Chicago to Hawaii and across Europe. No matter how far we roamed, we always looked forward to coming home to our two Persian cats, Hafez and Ferdowsi. After Talis closed its doors in late 2024, we embraced new jobs and routines, and continued on many more adventures together at home and abroad.
Then, in March 2025, we traveled to Yosemite National Park. After hiking to a lookout point, Alex casually suggested stopping for a photo. When Megan turned around, Alex was on one knee, ring in hand. She of course said yes!
