Best Man
John and Michael met in their fraternity Sigma Chi. From the moment Michael starred into John's ear gauge holes he knew they would be two peas in a pod. John knew they'd be tight the second the subject of music came up, countless conversations were had over the satisfying drag of an American Spirt, and their friendship just took off. They road the wave of college together and took their bromance to corporate America, tag teaming digital marketing at two different ad agencies together. John and Michael have been there for each other at each and every major life milestone since college. Always a text or short phone call away and always willing to drop anything to be there for each other. They are best friends and a brothers beyond fraternal bonds. "Witnessing the night Nicole and John met under the poorly hung Christmas lights at boondocks will be a moment I forever cherish and seeing their relationship blossom has been an incredible joy. Can’t wait to support them both on the most special day of their lives!" - Michael
Maid of Honor
In the ride of a lifetime, Hailee & I met when we were moving in together in Georgetown, Texas. (S/O Advanced Travel Therapy). We then traveled together to Phoenix for 2 years, where I met John and Hailee met her now fiance, Amudhan. Sadly, she moved back to Texas and I moved to Washington but our friendship remains unchanged. Hailee is one of the most fun and lovable humans ever. She is the life of the party, loyal, and is one of those people you can relax and be 100% yourself with - truly my best friend. Pro: ALWAYS answers my phone calls and FaceTimes. Con: Bedtime is 9pm sharp.
Matron of Honor
Still in my phone as Kaitlyn Pruett, Kaitlyn is my older sister and 3rd parent. Growing up, we'd fight about things as most sisters do, usually because she had an attitude about the attitude she thought I had. Kaitlyn and I are the opposite in many ways but she's always been one of my biggest supporters and confidants. Some of my favorite memories together are sharing a room, listening to Backstreet Boys Millennium album, picking on Macy and riding around in her white Honda accord when she turned 16. Pros: Is a real get sh*t done person, she's responsible for finding most of our vendors for the wedding. Also birthed two very cute, incredible humans I love so much. Cons: May, sometimes, have an attitude.
Maid of Honor
Macy Ann, or as I like to call her Precious, is the child who demoted me from youngest child to middle child. In our younger years (until I went to college) you could find us fighting and me being preeeettty mean to her. (I do regret that now.) In recent years, Macy has become one of my best friends and favorite adventure partners. Some of my favorite memories with her are learning cat facts, attending concerts together, and her coming to explore my home cities. Pros: Always travels to see me in new cities, even on a college budget. Is always up late when I want to call or text her. Con: One time she was very cranky when I drove her 4 hours from Seattle to Canada.
Groomsman
Jeremy and John first met in college when John was rushing their Fraternity, Sigma Chi. Their first conversation was around what inspired John to grow out his exceptionally full beard. Though Jeremy can’t quite recall what the inspiration was, he does remember thinking he was one of the most kind hearted people he had ever met. John was instantly drawn to Jeremy's authenticity, sense of humor, and insanely well manicured fade. Fast forward almost a decade, they grew extremely close as friends and room mates. Jeremy has been there for John in some of the hardest moments of his life, always lending an ear to listen and lightening the situation up a bit through some much needed humor. John and Jeremy are friends for life and will continue to be there for each-other and share passions in snowboarding, skating, music, and golf. "I could not be any more excited to witness the special day between him and Nicole, the love of his life. Cheers!" - Jeremy
Groomsman
John and Matt met back in 2014 when John was a mere pledge in their fraternity, Matt at the time was a distinguished alumni. Matt and John got to know each other through shared fraternal activities, which often included Matt hauling men down to Phoenix for a weekend of going out. John and Matt's friendship really took off post college, when they began exploring old town Scottsdale and everything Phoenix had to offer. John and Matt grew very close and became room mates for 3 years. They shared many nights enjoying carne asada fries, playing Mario Kart, talking career strategy, and fanatically watching HBO series together. Matt has been there for John in some of the toughest moments of his life, Matt is someone John knows he can always depend on, they will always be there for each other and continue to grow in their friendship for life.
Groomsman
Matt and John first met when he was rushing Sigma Chi in Fall of 2014. Matt was immediately seduced by John's overwhelmingly positive and welcoming attitude, kick-ass beard, closet full of flannels, and unsurprising love of IPAs. John was immediately drawn to Matt's (Fergie's) relentless drive in both the Fraternity and school, his hilarious sense of humor, and his unwavering support and love for his friends and family. After nearly a decade of snowboarding trips, shared roommates, couch fostering, ball games, and murdering thousands of beers together, John and Fergie are very closer than ever. Matt and his wife Rachel are a big part of John and Nicole's life, and will be for years to come. "I was proud to have John standing next to me on my wedding day, and I cannot wait to do the same for him! Cheers to both of you for finding your soulmate and sealing the deal!" - Fergs
Groomsman
John & Austin (Chavo) were in the same pledge class of sigma chi and both remember each other being one of the first people they clicked with at NAU. They quickly became some of the best friends each other have ever had. Whether it was talking about music & listening to Emmure/ A day to remember at full blast at like 10am, road trips to California & almost getting kicked out of donut shops in Newport on spring break, or getting into deep talks on our almost weekly goodwill/savers trips, John and Chavo have always been there for each other in both good times and bad. "Even though I’ve moved out of Arizona years ago, I never felt any distance between us. I was so excited to finally meet Nicole this year & cannot wait to see what the future holds for you both!" - Chavo
Bridesmaid
My cousin Haley is my first best friend. You could find Haley and I in Grandma and Grandpas house running around in grandpas boots, rummaging through Grandmas things, and sitting in “the brown chair” because we wouldn’t stop talking in church. I have so many memories with Haley including but not limited to fishing in grandmas paddle boat, playing “bar”, dressing up and making dance videos (let’s pray those are never found), and planning our futures together. Pros: Is always calm and a voice of reason. Con: Hasn’t mentioned our bar plans in a long time.
Bridesmaid
Dakota and I grew up about 20 minutes away from each other but didn't meet until our freshman year of college. In the 5 long years of our OT program, Dakota and I have shared many group projects, study sessions, bowls of queso at Mission Taco, and long nights out. Dakota has been there for me in some of the toughest moments of life and has been an irreplaceable friend and support. She is one of the most genuine, kind humans who I'm lucky enough to know. Pros: Is really the kindest human. Her dance moves. Cons: Once yelled at me for something someone else was doing. Her dance moves.
Bridesmaid
Claudia was my RA my freshmen year at Maryville University in 2013. By October, I bothered Claudia enough to be my friend and she must've liked me because the next year we lived together. After we moved to different apartments, I could always call Claudia to get food or go to a concert with me, even if it was finals week with 1 hours notice. Now, Claudia and I have our monthly 3 hours phone calls or make trips to see each other. She has always been one of my biggest hype women and always provides a grounded prospective to all of life's problems. Pros: Understands the woes of being a middle child. Now lives 2 hours away. Cons: When she's had a few drinks, will REALLY hype me up which is very kind but makes me uncomfy.
Bridesmaid
Megan and I moved in to the same apartment in 2015 after knowing of each other but not spending much time together. Very quickly, Megan became one of my best friends and fiercest supporters. We've shared so many laughs, a few cries, and countless memories. Megan is the opposite of me in many ways but she has taught me how to laugh harder, feel my feelings, and to be myself always. Some of my favorite memories with her are dancing around in our college apartment, our many trips to get froyo, outings involving mojitos and bloody marys, and standing by her side at her wedding. Pros: Snorts when she laughs. Is sunshine in human form. Con: Says nice things that make me uncomfy.
