We met on Jessica's fourth day of work at Texas State University. Our introductions revolved around work and then it was quickly revealed how nerdy we both are. A few monthly happy-hours later and Jessica was invited to D&D night. We've been playing ever since! We have fun together every day and the rest has been history.

How we met

On the last day of perfect weather in May 2022, to celebrate our birthdays we planned a trip to Enchanted Rock and spent the weekend in Fredericksburg visiting wineries and cute little shops. We climbed to the top of Enchanted Rock, which we had to ourselves, which turned into a lovely private proposal. It feels like the engagement ring is THE enchanted rock.
