South Asian Attire Guide

Please note that any dress code recommendations for the wedding are optional, please wear whatever attire makes you the most comfortable to all of the events. You can always pair your outfit with some fun South Asian Jewelry or a dupatta if you're feeling spicy! For women: - Lehenga Choli: 3 piece outfit consisting of a cropped blouse, long skirt and usually a dupatta (shawl). Easy to wear! - Saree: One long piece of fabric that can be draped around the body in different ways, worn with a cropped blouse. Very difficult to drape yourself, but you can find lots of pre-draped options online. - Salwar Kameez/Anarkali Set: Usually a longer tunic shirt with matching pants and dupatta. Similar to maxi/midi dress. For men: - Kurta: Long tunic-like top paired with pants. Styles can range from casual to more formal - Sherwani: Long jacket/tunic, generally worn for more formal events, can get them with embroidery or patterns
