Cable car trip including the Panoramic Lift to Italy (and back). Make sure to take your winter layers here. It takes you up 3,842-metre-tall (12,605 ft). Take your time walking around when you get up the second lift. You will feel the altitude. For some exercise, you can come down to middle lift after sightseeing and hike all the way down to chamonix valley, or traverse across to montenvers (6 mile hike). There are nice places to eat up at the top of the lift and at the middle lift.
Take a picturesque 15 minute train ride to explore this charming village.
A multi-level spa with breathtaking views. Reservations in advance recommended.
We went here on one of our first dates. Good hike, cold dipping spot and the buvette has some of the best crepes in town.
This was our backyard fun outing once or twice a week! Take the Flegere lift up, go for a short hike, and Climb up the Via Ferrata for stunning views! Not for young kids or those with a fear of heights! You'll need to rent a harness, Via Ferrata kit and climbing helmet.
Take the lift up from Plan Praz and enjoy some world class hikes, trail runs, and/or drinks with a view.
Take the lift up to access the via Ferrata, more hikes, and a high altitude meal.
Bar vibes. Great burgers and apero scene. Nice sunset views.
Nepali Restaurant around the corner from La Sapiniere Hotel. Order the momos.
Hands down one of our top 3 fav restaurants in Chamonix. You want to make reservations way in advance of your arrival to Chamonix.
Cheese, cheese, and cheese (and wine)! This is a more posh option to get those delicious cheesey french meals. We also love it's sister restaurant - O Garde Manger - for the meat and wine lovers
