Priti and Dave’s love story begins as you would expect , traveling across countries. The magic started in the summer of July 2021 in the mountains of Chamonix where Priti was attending a mountaineering course (thank you, Tinder!). Their official first date was in Geneva, Switzerland and the second date across the border in France. From that first summer, Priti and Dave have skied through most of Europe, danced in the deserts of North America, hiked in the tropical islands of the Pacific, traveled to the Galapagos and transcended to other worlds in Columbia, swam in the waters of the Italian riviera, and escaped the mud swamp of Burning Man. Dave’s life as a entrepreneur, humanitarian and documentary producer means that he frequently needs to fly out at a moment’s notice (due to bad planning!?), sometimes for weeks at a time with minimal cell service. Priti’s career in the UN and at a Development Bank leads to long trips away from home meeting with national high level officials and grueling work days. Yet, even when they are continents a part, they are together. Dave and Priti share the joy in each other’s wins and weather through life’s challenges together. They are not only there for each other, but also there for their friends and family. Love begets love, and we can all see how great their love is with the community they have gathered around them. What better way to celebrate these two than a party where it all started!

Naturally, Dave proposed to Priti on a gorgeous day during a trail run in Montenvers. Priti’s ring holds three stunning crystals from Mont Blanc valleys, symbols of their past, present, and future and the place they fell in love.
