When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Because we are keeping it as an intimate event, we had to limit our guest party. If you RSVP "Yes," we ask that you notify us at least 20 days before the event if you are no longer able to attend to accommodate other guests as we must provide the final head count 10 days before our special day.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that each of our guests give their selves ample time to arrive as the Ceremony will start at 5:15 p.m. on the dot.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are keeping our Ceremony and Reception limited to close friends and family and have already accounted for those that have partners/fiances. We are happy to have them join us along with friends who want to attend the After Party!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is limited throughout Washington, DC. However, Big Bear Cafe does have available parking by the property with a two-hour time limit. If needing to arrive by car, please give yourself time to find parking.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We can make accommodations in advance for those with Dietary Restrictions. Without ample notice, we will not be able to accommodate any requests on the day of the event.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We expect that there will be an influx of visitors in Washington, DC since it is Memorial Day weekend. Please keep this in mind when planning your arrival and whether requesting a ride (e.g., Uber or Lyft) or using public transportation (e.g., bus or metro).

Is there a dress code?

Semi-formal attire: tuxes, slacks, gowns, and/or cocktail dresses.
