Andrew met Dozier while seeking to become a police officer. He kind of knew Dozier by growing up with his wife, Leigha. They became fast friends - always calling each other, sharing the same sense of humor, and play video games with the COD Squad frequently. Shelbie and Andrew know that their friendship with Dozier and Leigha Lacey is something so genuine - it will definitely last a life time.

Practically the time Shelbie was born to now; that's how far Sarah & Shelbie go back. They grew up going to the same church up until Shelbie was in middle school. About that time, Sarah started baby sitting her after school every day. She would pick Shelbie up in her Trans Am, take her back to the house, and watch "What I Like About You" after homework was done. Fast forward a few years, Sarah became Shelbie's 'big seester'. They would grab Tuti Fruiti and sit in the car to talk about life for hours on end. To this day, they are the bestest of sisters who still talk for hours on end.

The alpha hipster. Andrew met Jonny at his National Guard unit where he worked with him full-time for a couple years where they grew close. Even though Jonny moved to NC, they still stay in touch.

Andrew met Jessica in the 5th grade when they started to learn percussion. They grew closer all the way through high school. Shelbie met Jessica her freshman year of college in her interior design classes and they immediately became best friends. Jessica was the one who introduced Shelbie and Andrew, and she captured the proposal.

Andrew met Aaron during the year he lived in Rock Hill. They met in a young adult small group at Elevation Riverwalk. They like to go snowboarding or just grab a beer together whenever they can since Andrew has moved back to Spartanburg. Everyone who knows Aaron knows he is inseparable from his dog, Raegan.

Shelbie met Meagan Sophomore year of Mauldin Highschool. They quickly became friends when they expressed their interests in the same fictional book characters. Throughout highschool, they grew to become the bestest of friends and spent all their time together from driving to school together to hanging out in the band room to practicing guard endlessly to countless slumber parties. They may be polar opposites, but their differences only make their friendship all the more special.

Adam is one of Shelbie's older brothers. Adam and his wife, Erin, along with their furry friends lived with Shelbie for a short time while she was in high school! The three of them love to spend time together centered around baseball.

Shelbie met Taylor Freshman year of college in Art 101. Little did they both know, their worlds had crossed multiple times! They became closer when Taylor became Shelbie's suitemate, and the two have grown their friendship even more since graduating.

Anna is lucky enough to be close to both Andrew and Shelbie. It all started when Aaron started to date Anna. She quickly became a part of the family with her quirkiness and kind heart. Anna and Aaron officially were married, and now she can't wait for Shelbie to join the family!
