One December night, Dylan and Harley were both living in Tampa and happened to be up very late. Harley was aimlessly scrolling her phone while Dylan was up playing video games or studying for an upcoming nursing exam. Harley had some recent disappointing dates and decided to try her luck on Tinder again. While swiping through, she came across a profile with pictures of a cute guy and the longest bio she had seen. Harley swiped right and....it's a match! Harley boldly sent the first message, telling Dylan she needed proof he could cook a "five course meal using nothing but a spatula and a toaster oven" (according to his bio). Dylan quickly responded and they stayed up even later chatting. They connected over their shared love for cooking and planned their first date in a few days: shopping at Publix and cooking dinner at Dylan's place. The first date was perfect (even with a small wine bottle mishap). From there, Harley and Dylan were practically inseparable. After three months, they decided to make things official! One week later, the world shut down for the pandemic and they spent most of quarantine together. As life started to feel normal again, Dylan told Harley he had decided to move back to Arkansas to be closer to his family. They talked about what that meant for their relationship. The two had stayed in contact and, after only knowing each other for about 7 months, Harley decided to take the leap and told Dylan she wanted to move to Arkansas to be with him.
