Bride
Emily graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Carolina State University in May 2020. Now, Emily works in media relations and strategic communications for Dominion Energy in Richmond, Virginia. Emily purchased her first home in a suburb of Richmond where she and Austin reside.
Groom
Austin served as a Combat Medic in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army for three years. The Army has awarded Austin with a very selective scholarship that is paying for him to attend college and medical school to become a doctor in the Army. Austin currently attends Virginia Commonwealth University and he is studying biochemistry on a premed track.
Maid of Honor
Cousins are usually some of the first friends we make as children, which stands true for Emily and Kelsey. The annual Bethany Beach family trips. visiting one another, and talking on the phone for hours have allowed them to grow closer throughout the years. The relationship they started as young kids has evolved into a strong sisterly-bond in adulthood.

A quote that describes Emily and Sarah's relationship is "God made us cousins because he knew neither of our mothers could handle it if we were sisters". Emily and Sarah were (and still are) practically inseparable as they are the sister that each other never had.

On a district-wide school system field trip called "Sound of Sea" in 2009, Emily and Parris instantly became friends. The two bonded over laughter towards their immature classmates getting into trouble. Joining the same clubs in high school, making the effort to visit one another in college, and spending birthdays together has kept the flourishing friendship alive despite the distance.

Growing up on the same street since 2003 and being the only children of the same age brought Emily and Monika together. Emily and Monika have been friends from playing freeze tag in the street as young kids to going to high school together and frequent trips to The Table.

Emily and Sarah met in late 2019 and instantly became close friends. They bonded over their love for Christ, coffee, and dogs. Emily and Sarah have grown closer because of the friendship Sarah's husband, Colin, and Austin have made. Sarah and Colin have made several trips to Richmond to visit Emily and Austin, which speaks to how dedicated they are as freinds.

Ally and Emily met through Austin. Ally and Austin both served as Combat Medics in the Army. Austin actually introduced Ally to her husband, Jace Belshe, who is Austin's Best Man. Ally and Jace are dear friends of Emily and Austin. Ally and Emily have bonded over their relationship with Christ, similar values and morals, and their sense of humor.
Best Man
Fort Bragg, NC is where Austin and Jace’s friendship began. During Army physical training, Austin and Jace connected over their competitiveness and passion for fitness and health. Their faith brought them closer to each other, which helped motivate them to become better and work harder.

Ryan is Austin's older brother. Growing up Austin would spend most of his summers staying at Ryan and his wife's house. Austin and Ryan have bonded over riding fourwheelers, family vacations, videogames, and late nights around a bonfire.

Nathaniel, "Nate", and Austin met at Combat Medic Training at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. Nate and Austin took the same path to Airborne school then to the same brigade at Fort Bragg. Throughout their training, they spent all of their time together when they were out of uniform. Austin and Nate spent their time going to church and adventuring around the various cities where they were stationed while making lifelong memories.

Noah and Austin quickly became friends when they met in Civil Air Patrol in middle school. They started spending almost every weekend together. Actually, Austin became a Christian because he started going to church with Noah’s family. Now, whenever they have both been home from the Army, they always make an effort to see one another. Noah was the first friend of Austin’s that Emily ever met!

Colin and Austin became friends through Sarah Farrell, who is Colin's wife, and Emily's friendship. Colin and Sarah were the first friends to come to visit Austin and Emily at their new home in Virginia. Colin and Austin quickly bonded over their goofiness, love for Christ, and their similar personalities.
Junior Groomsman
Dakota is Austin's nephew and the son of Austin's brother, Ryan Keane. Austin has watched Dakota grow up into the smart and kind young boy he has become.
