NYC has tons of airports, but LaGuardia (LGA) is the most convenient and inexpensive for traveling to and from Manhattan. Our recommendation for the most hassle-free commute is the Taxi. You will find directions to the nearest taxi stand in the arrivals terminal. You may also opt to take public transportation, which is the most cost-effective. This will require you to take a combination of MTA buses and/or the subway. We recommend Google Maps for that, as they will plot the quickest and most easy-to-understand directions.

Our recommendation for the simplest commute to Manhattan is the NJ Transit to New York Penn Station. Tickets are available in the airport terminal (look for the sign to the AirTrain), and the escalator to the train platform is next to the ticket kiosk. Adult One-Way - $15.25 Child (5-11), Senior, Military/Disabled - $11.25 Of course you may always take a Taxi (look for directions to the nearest Taxi stand in the arrivals terminal), but the cost will be higher as the airport is further out from the city than LaGuardia.

Though it is unlikely those traveling domestic will fly into this airport (as it is MOSTLY for international passengers), the best recommendation we have is to click "View" below and use the airport website for commuter options. There are many options for getting to Manhattan, and depending on the time of day you will spend at least 1 hour commuting.
