Yes, we will have a van service to take guests to and from the event, provided you are in the general Estes Park vicinity. In order to be picked up to get to the event, you must let us know ahead of time so that we can arrange a time to pick you up. It would also be helpful to know who would like to use the van to be dropped off at the end of the night so that we can make arrangements as well. However, you may ask to use the transportation van to get home at the end of the night without prearrangement. To get set up for the van service pick up and drop off, please reach out to Mary Pressler, cell is 734-355-3363. Uber and Lyft are not terribly reliable in the Estes Park area.
Yes, vehicles may be left overnight at Wild Basin Lodge. You would just have to pick up the vehicle the next day by 10am.
No, we welcome you to take pictures! We ask that you not use flash photography during the ceremony and we ask that you not stand in the aisle to take pictures during the ceremony.
Yes, we will have a pre-wedding get together the evening before the wedding that is available for all to attend. Children are welcome! This will be more casual, and located at Elevations Eatery and Bar. Please see the schedule tab for more details! We don't have firm details yet, but this section will be updated as we do!
Just send me a message before September 12, 2024. Mary's cell is 734-355-3363.
Estes Park is over a mile about sea level, for everyone who is coming from out of town, this may be a slight adjustment. Most people do well with the altitude but you may experience some mild headache or nausea. The number one recommendation is to drink PLENTY of water, this is alleviate the majority of the symptoms associated with altitude adjustment. Drink water before you arrive in the area, and frequently throughout the trip. I would also recommend being cautious with alcohol. We want everyone to have a good time, keep in mind that one drink at sea level equals the effect of two drinks at altitude! Be safe!
