How do I get from the airport to the resort?
Answer
Many options exist to get to the hotel from Cancun Airport. Our preferred method of transport is through private transportation companies. If you’d like to book transport through the hotel, please email Sandra at Cservicefacun@officialtours.mx This is Private Transportation Round Trip Airport-Hotel, Hotel-Airport. It is $150USD and has a capacity of 2-7 people. We have used USA Transfers as well as Canada Transfers in the past with no issues. Booking a private transport is, in our opinion, a better option than Uber and taxi, however, if you are doing that make sure the rate is listed for the cab and if taking an Uber do not engage with others outside the airport and just say you have a car booked but don’t say Uber since taxis don’t like the uber services and can therefore get rude/aggressive with you. https://usa-transfers.com

What is the wedding dress code?

Ceremony/Reception: think Beach business casual. Dress pants with button up long/short sleeves for men. Summer dresses for women. No shorts, t-shirts, flip flops, runners. Welcome Cocktail: Floral theme. Floral dresses, skirts, jumpsuits for women. Floral/Hawaiian shirts for men. Dress shorts are fine. Nice sneakers are fine. Please no flip flops, runners, basketball/casual shorts, swimsuits.

Should I bring a gift to Cancun?

We're so happy that our family and friends are coming all the way to Mexico to celebrate our special day! Your attendance is all we need. However, if you are planning to get a gift please send it to our home in Pittsburgh. We can't wait to see you all!

Live Aqua Cancun is a 19+ resort. We love the little ones in our family but have opted for an adults only affair.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

If you have allergies please reach out to either Tim or myself. The resort is equipped to handle most allergies for the reception dinner.
