If you have any questions other than what we have listed here, please reach out to one of us.
Question

Where can I park?

Answer

There is a garage attached to the Hilton. If you park there, make sure to get it validated for a discounted price for the wedding!

Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

We do! Please find the hotel block under the "Travel" tab.

Question

What other hotels can I stay at nearby?

Answer

There are a lot of hotels nearby if you don't want to stay at the Hilton! We've linked a few under the "Travel" tab towards the bottom.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 1st, 2025. If you have any changes to your RSVP, please text Preetam, Tvara, or one of our parents to let us know.

Question

Are there any colors I should avoid?

Answer

Typically, the rule of thumb for traditional Indian wedding ceremonies is no white, no red, and no black (this does not apply to the other events).

Question

What is the attire/dress code?

Answer

Please check your wedding invitation through the RSVP tab to see the dress code for the events. Indian attire is not a requirement! If you prefer a western/American outfit, that is perfectly fine as well and examples of western attire have been provided on the invitation. That said, it is not at all offensive to wear an Indian outfit even if you are not Indian - in fact, it is encouraged and welcomed! Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions on attire. If you are attending multiple events and there is a time gap of 2 or more hours between the events, there will be adequate time for you to change into the next outfit and get ready for the next event. Below are some examples of what attire is appropriate for different events: Haldi Attire: Yellow or Light-Colored Indian Wear. American alternative: Yellow/light colored casual. Examples: Men: Light t-shirt or button-down with slacks or chinos. Women: Sundress, maxi, or flowy dress, romper, or a nice blouse and jeans. Sangeet Attire: Indian preferred. American alternative: cocktail attire. Examples: Men: sherwani, nice kurta-pajama, Jodhpuri or Nehru jacket, suit, or shirt and pants. Alternatively, dress shirt with pants/slacks, blazer encouraged. Women: Chaniya choli, lehenga, anarkali, or sari. Alternatively, cocktail dress, jumpsuit, or a colorful maxi dress. Make sure you are wearing something comfortable to dance in! Colorful attire encouraged. Baraat/Ceremony Attire: Formal/semi-formal Indian attire (no black). American alternative: Modest semi-formal. No jeans. Examples: Men: dress shirt and pants/slacks Women: Modest cocktail, knee-length or longer dresses. Reception Attire: Formal Indian or formal American (dress to impress!) Examples: Men: Suit or blazer with tie, sherwani. Women: Long dress, gown, formal evening wear, lehenga, sari.

Question

There is a time gap between events. What should I do?

Answer

If there is a gap of a few hours between events, guests typically go back to their hotel rooms (or to where they are staying) to change into the next outfit, get ready, rest, relax, and hang out until it is time for the next event. The hotel lobby and bar are also available to relax at until the next event.
