Preetam and Tvara's story began at a mutual friend's birthday party in late October 2019, not realizing that this casual night out would change their lives forever. The sparks between them didn't just fly - they sailed. Quite literally! A few weeks later in November 2019, they found themselves on a cruise to the Bahamas together, where the connection deepened on the North Atlantic Ocean. From that cruise trip onward, Preetam knew there was something incredibly special about Tvara after noticing her charming personality, vibrant energy, and the effortless way in which she fit in with his family and friends in the following social gatherings that he invited her to. She would continue to check all of his boxes by continuing to amaze him with some new aspect of her personality every time they interacted. Seeing her light up the room with her smile and energy made him realize that he was falling for her quickly and he knew had to do something about it! They started dating in January 2020, with countless romantic dates, adventures, and several late night FaceTime conversations sharing common lifelong dreams and aspirations with one another. After realizing that they had a strong compatibility and were gaining deep feelings for one another, they made it official on March 27th, 2020 when Preetam asked Tvara to officially be his girlfriend. Surprisingly, this also happened to be the same day that Preetam met Tvara's parents for the first time. This marked the first full circle moment that marked the beginning of their journey with one another. Since this moment, they have built a meaningful emotional foundation and a life full of love and laughter. The second full-circle moment was on November 3rd, 2024, where Preetam surprised Tvara with a beautiful picnic just before he proposed to her at Canton Waterfront Park. Not coincidentally, the proposal was in the city of Baltimore - where their story first began way back in 2020. Now, they are excited to take the next step of their lifelong journey, and celebrate this love with all of you.
