Hotels

Hotels are best found in San Juan Bautista, Gilroy, and Hollister. Gilroy and Hollister are 15 minutes from the mission!

Flight

SFO

SFO is usually the best option in terms of expense. However, it is 30 mins farther from the mission for a total travel time of 1 hr & 40 mins on average.

Flight

SJC

A smaller airport than SFO, SJC is in San Jose and about 45 mins to 1 hour from the mission.

Travel Note

Hwy 101 Traffic

For anyone renting a car from the airports SFO or SJC: Bay Area traffic is LOW on the 101 South (towards the mission) in the mornings and North (towards the airports) in the evenings. Traffic is HIGH on the 101 North in the mornings and South after noontime. On Sunday, expect traffic to be high northbound towards the airports anytime after 9AM.
