We have felt a variety of emotions just while planning a wedding during this pandemic. We want to make our Covid-19 policy clear to all our guests because it’s very important that we keep you, our guests, and vendors all on the same page. As guidelines continue to change as well as this evolving virus, we encourage you to have as many boundaries as you need to feel comfortable. While we wish we could move past this virus, it's important to acknowledge the risks inherent in hosting a gathering at this time. We hope our provided methods will help you communicate your preferred comfort level at this event. There will be signs located throughout the venue, reassuring guests of safety measures taking place.
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at the venue listed on your official wedding invitation.
Located on a historic 146 acre working farm nestled on the banks of the Chehalis River in SW Washington. With inside and open-air gathering spaces, also providing a unique and beautiful rustic natural setting for this special celebration. We can’t wait for you to see for yourself!
We completely understand if you can't attend and you will be missed. Simply let us know you will not be attending through RSVP on this website, so we can plan accordingly.
The Wedding will begin at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 17th, 2022. The ceremony will begin at 2:50 pm. We respectfully ask all guests to arrive on time or no later than 15-20 minutes after to insure all guests have time to find parking, leave their signature in the guest book and be seated accordingly. Out of respect for the Bride and Groom, if anyone is to arrive after the requested arrival time, they may be asked to wait in their vehicle until the ceremony is over. This is to prevent any interruptions from occurring. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
RSVP cards were sent out with wedding invitations and instructed guests to send an email to thejohnsons917@gmail.com. The best way to RSVP is right here on this website. Simply type your first and last name in the RSVP search bar and then specify on whether you are able or unable to attend. If you were offered a "plus one", you will be able to RSVP for that person as well.
As a guest with the intention of attending this event, it is your responsibility to RSVP on this website by July 1st, 2022. Please be sure to include your first and last name and specify on whether you are able or unable to attend. If offered a plus one, please do the exact same by including their first and last name and specify if they are able or unable to attend, as well.
Shoot for a semiformal or dressy casual look. Try a below-the-knee dress or a dressy skirt and top. An elegant pantsuit is also appropriate. Floor-length gowns, however, would be inappropriate. Pair with nice wedges, or formal flats. The ceremony is being held outdoors so you'll be walking across a lawn. With that, we do recommend avoiding traditional heels that will likely get stuck in the grass. Men should wear a dress shirt and slacks, dark or light with the option to wear a tie. Remember to look classy and polished, but don't wear something overly embellished or fancy that could take away from us, newlyweds. Semiformal should give you flexibility and comfort, but be sure not to dress too casual.
First and foremost, don’t wear a white dress. Avoid matching the colors worn by the bridal party, wearing anything that is too revealing, flashy, or opting for clothes that are overly casual, like jeans and sneakers. Remember to dress semi formal or dressy casual.
We want to provide a comfortable experience for everyone. However, due to some important restrictions and recent mandate changes in place, guests aren't required to wear mask although it is strongly encouraged. Feel free to bring your own mask from home. We will also provide masks for those who change their mind or would feel more comfortable wearing one.
It’s a Fall wedding but of course, we can’t guarantee anything. Nearly every September day warms to over 60 °F (16 °C) in Seattle. But September does not normally get as cold as 40 °F (4 °C). Keep an eye on the weather in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Bring an umbrella, just in case.
Unfortunately we do not have a hotel block for guests. However, we have provided the names of hotels near Willapa Hills Farm or closer to Lacey, Washington on this website under the "Travel" section.
As much as we love your little ones, this wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can enjoy the afternoon and evening with no worries. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
This wedding is strictly RSVP only. If we have reserved one spot under your name, please do NOT bring anyone along with you. If we have reserved two spots under your name, feel free to bring a "plus one". We will only accommodate those who have RSVPed.
Of course you can and thank you, in advance! Feel free to check out the registry on this website. If you choose to bring a gift, a trustworthy member of the wedding party will take it from you and store it in a safe place.
Our wish is for you to be there with us on the happiest day of our lives. If you want to do something more, a contribution toward our wishing well would be greatly appreciated. The matron of honor/ mother of the bride, will be the trustworthy person in charge of handling these funds (preferably checks).
We’re going “Unplugged”, which means during the ceremony, please keep cameras and phones off and/or put away. We promise to share moments of our big day.
During the ceremony, please keep cameras and phones off and/or put away. You are more than welcome to take pictures and record videos during the cocktail hour and reception. We politely want to ask our guests, to refrain from posting any pictures or videos of the Bride and Groom on social media.
