Quite the trek from the islands but a popular hike Vermont is known for (you can see "the hump" from the islands).

Stowe Pinnacle Trailhead

If you are checking out Stowe (a quintessential Vermont town), this hike is a great one!

Apple Island Resort Golf Course

Public Boat Launch and Marina with boat rentals (pontoon). Additionally a Nine Hole, Par-3 Golf Course on Lake Champlain.

Lakewood Links Golf Club

Lakewood Links is an 18-hole, par-72 course stretching 6,562 yards from the back tees.
