This park holds a very special place in our hearts... it's where we got engaged! Check out Bryant Park Grill for a delicious meal, NYPL for your SATC moment (but no leaving anyone at the altar!) and head to Raines Law Room, just a few blocks away, for some cocktails and a charcuterie board. Fun fact- Raines Law Room was where we went on our first date!
Come for the beer, stay for the extra large pretzels and games! Fun fact #2, we came here for our second date where we drank mulled wine & watched "Bad Santa" in the freezing cold!
What's not to love about Stone Street, especially on a warm day/night?! Harry's is one of Diana’s favorite restaurants, especially for boozy brunch! Follow that up with drinks at one of the many bars on the famous Stone Street! If you want to check out on of Ryan's favorite bars, head to The Dead Rabbit for their famous Irish coffee. Fun fact #3, Ryan threw our epic surprise engagement party at the Lovelace (it was supposed to be at Fraunces Tavern but that's still a sore subject for him), which is right over there! Lovelace has since closed but be sure to check out Fraunces Tavern for drinks and food, plus lots of history!
We love Hudson Yards! Check out The Edge for gorgeous aerial views of NYC (make your reservation ahead of time, they're free), go to Hudson Yards mall for some shopping, or head to one of the many restaurants in Manhattan West/Hudson Yards to see why we love it so much.
From an unused industrial zone to a gorgeous public space- definitely take the opportunity to walk the highline! Stop for some photos (we did our engagement photos here), grab some snacks and enjoy the view. You can enter in the Meatpacking District (right by The Standard Biergarden) on W. 14th and walk it all the way to W. 30th (right at Hudson Yards) to have a day full of sight seeing some of our favorite spots in NYC!
Need a laugh? You'll get it here! Comedy shows have been a HUGE part of our relationship... we've seen some of the best comics in the world and lots of up-and-coming ones, too. If you happen to see Marc Normand, Joe List, Theo Von, Sam Morrill, or Yannis Poppis on the lineup, run, don't walk (and let us know so we can come, too, they're our favorites)!
I mean... obviously. We couldn't give a list of things to do and not put Central Park here! Grab your sneakers for a walk or bike ride through the park (rental bikes are easily accessible!), check out The Boathouse for a fancy meal, rent a rowboat or head over to the Central Park Zoo for some family fun. While you're up there, check out the Museum of Natural History and The Frick Museum!
As two people who absolutely love working out and have spent MUCH of our quality time at OrangeTheory, we have lots of studio recommendations for our fellow fitness-enthusiasts. For yoga, check out CorePower located right by the hotels - Diana has taught Yoga Sculpt there since 2019! If barre is more your thing, there's a Pure Barre right down the street from the hotels. If you love spin, look no further than SoulCycle which is a short walk from the hotels. Into boxing? Check out Rumble, they have locations all throughout the city. Lastly, and probably most important, try an OrangeTheory class! I promise, you'll leave understanding why we choose to spend so much time there. Looking for other recommendations? Reach out- we have lots more ideas (:
