We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We were friends first, which is the best part of our relationship. We met in Physical Therapy School here in Glendale, AZ. We have very different memories as to who made the first move, but with help from our best friends, we discovered our feelings for each other on vacation in Thailand. Our first official date back in the States was to a quaint and cozy restaurant that some know as Olive Garden. We knew there was potential for love when we decided to split every appetizer on the menu, then walk around Target to help digest. We found a lot of common interests beyond our love for appetizers including snowboarding, watching football and board games. They say you learn a lot about a person when you move in together, and for us it has been effortless. We can't wait to live together for the rest of our lives!

James and Jenna went to the Outer Banks, North Carolina for a beach vacation with Jenna's family. He had the ring for almost 4 months hidden away, so he couldn't wait for the first day at the beach to ask Jenna to marry him. Everyone got dressed up for "family photos" so that the moment would be captured by Jenna's brother who is a great photographer. Everyone started taking couple pictures, and when it was our turn, James dropped on one knee and the rest is history. It was so special to have Jenna's family share the moment, and captured with beautiful photos. We went back to the beach house for champagne and an engagement party and spent the rest of vacation on cloud nine!
