Get yourself some delicious Ghirardelli chocolate and ice cream sundaes and visit the iconic Buena Vista Cafe, home of the original irish coffee.

Local tourist area and is walking distance from 2 of the hotels we set up room blocks at.
North Beach (Little Italy)
Some of our favorite restaurants here are Golden Boy Pizza, Victoria Pastry, Molinari Delicatessen, Original Joe's, Tony's Pizza Napoletana, 15 Romolo, Stella Pastry & Cafe. Coit Tower is also a short walk away and an SF landmark with stunning views, or walk through the Jack Kerouac Alley and pop into The Beat Museum.
Marina District (Shopping, Movie Theaters, Restaurants)
Some of our favorites are the old Presidio Theater, Souvla, Delarosa, Izzy's Steakhouse, Susie Cakes, Dragon Well, A16 (we had our 1 yr anniversary dinner here)
Marina Green & Chrissy Field
Beautiful parks and walking paths along the bay which makes them great places for a picnic and morning / afternoon walks. They also have indoor rock climbing and a cute coffee shop with souvenirs called The Warming Hut.
Golden Gate Park
Visit the Bison at the Bison Paddock, California Academy of Science Museum, Japanese Tea Garden, De Young Museum, Conservatory of Flowers, watch the local archers near the Golden Gate Park Windmills and Tulips
Presidio of San Francisco
Not only is this where the wedding venue is located, but they also have other offerings: Presidio Visitor Center, Walt Disney Family Museum (one of our favorites), Presidio Bowling Alley, Lucas Films (get a pic with Yoda), and is a short distance to the Palace of Fine Arts.
Presidio Tunnel Tops
This is relatively new to SF but offers great views of the bay and golden gate bridge, playground for the kids, restaurant, and sitting areas.
Battery to Bluffs Trail
On the Marin side of the Golden Gate Bridge - many trails to walk and gives you stunning views!
Explore Sausalito & Tiburon
Should you decide to drive over the Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito and Tiburon are cute little towns to visit. They also offer bike rentals which is a fun way to cruise around. We love Sam's Chowder House for a delicious meal on the water.
Ferry Building
The ferry building offers a farmer's market on weekends and has a range of shops, wine bars and restaurants inside.
