YES! You will want to rent a car to explore the island! There is so much to see and do. Drivers are super friendly so it is not hard to drive around.If you want to make it easy on yourself, rent directly from the airport car rental companies.

Things to bring: Big beach towels! Tennis shoes (if you want to hike to waterfalls) Water bottle Alcoholic drink bottle (make a beverage and bring it to the pool or the beach!)

Continuously check back on google for flight prices. As far as hotel stay, you can book whenever you want (they start taking bookings about a year in advance). When booking on Turo, the sooner you book the better the car/rate will be. There are not a ton of cars available so once one is booked, you may not see another one like it.

Loulu Palm is about an hour away from Waikiki, however, the options of stays near Loulu are quite limited. We will have a shuttle & party bus for guests to get to and from our venue. Pickup will be at the Alohilani Resort at 1:00 P.M. and will later pick everyone up from the venue at 10:00 P.M. Arrival back to the Alohilani Resort will be at about 11:00 P.M. There are spaces for you to park if you would like to drive separate or you can always rent an Uber/Lyft.

The show will go on! In the event of rain, a large tent will cover the ceremony and reception area.

We recommend booking at a hotel. Because of airbnb laws throughout the island, there are not many to choose from. They are also closely monitored by the state. Airbnb's may be randomly removed/cancelled if they do not meet the state requirements. Most airbnb's or vrbo rentals are only permitted on resorts such as Turtle Bay. This is where you will find majority of legal rentals. We do have a list of state approved airbnb's if you would like though.

Sorry. No kids except for ours. We have very limited number for our guest list and do not have space for any kids.
